  1. Try both ? Nothing says you have to do both , but it gives two opportunities.
  2. Thanks Dave. Second weekend in April kind of tough.
  3. Dave !!!!! How about a report? First Gen Legacy and Impreza ?? No dinosaurs , I'm sure. How's Threaded Rod Ben doing?
  4. Might be good if I camp the night before somewhere around the Rt.61 /Rt.81 area. Also curious about Faust in Allentown but that's out of the way. Anybody able to give a report from there? Used to be some vintage Subarus off in the corner that was getting cut off from the main property by the highway they put thru it. Early April could work.
  5. Hey , get your hands off that , it's MINE !!!!! Just getting some practice in. We've done this before. Guys from CT , meet up with guys from PA , maybe a NY'er or Jersey guy in there too. So far I've only injured one guy and none dead from all of us , so we're alright Can we get a report going? Weather is soooooo sweeeeet right now. Gas should go up towards Memorial Day weekend , Carlisle before that , so let's make it April - sound good ?? Need that report !! I'm fairly limited as you what I need these days. Early Legacy and early Impreza , or the needle in the haystack - 70's stuff.
  6. Sign says "Check my gallery" :-p Here , I'll make it easy on ya. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/album.php?albumid=11 After I get my carb. back together tomorrow I'm heading into storage to do more damage. Should start to see lots more parts and wheels listed. Cheers!
  7. Excellent! I think I have this too , bought it from the UK when I was Coupe-happy. We got 'em on top speed !!! And we have the "unanimously voted" most UNcomfortable seats. Hence , the several stops required if going on long trips like to Carlisle for the big show for all old gen. Subarus.
  8. Repeat of Danny W info - on here as "drivesubies" Not a big deal unless you just discovered him. He's sitting on TONS of parts you new guys have no idea about. He bought the former mid-Atlantic Subaru parts distributor's old stock. He still needs time to get the majority of what he has out to be inventoried and listed. Relax and breath.
  9. That's Danny W - here on the USMB as "drivesubies". You can turn the alarm off now.
  10. Yeah I have issues too , probably why I'm considering going .... :-p Well , we did do a few "Meets" at boneyards in the past , and Harry's and the Rt.61 scene are plenty cool to me. Ususally worth the drive , even if you don't get much its always a social event not to be missed. :-p How about we keep this thread going and if you guys want we'll start a fresh one for a boneyard day. Gotta be a Saturday to maximize effort. Harry's acts as the base. Would be great to get reports on New Ringgold and the other Rt. 61 joints. Faust in Allentown still had old Subarus but there was lots going on there with construction of a highway thru their property ....gosh , plenty of years ago now. :-\
  11. We should meet at Harry's in Hazelton and stop at Carlisle to pee and wash the cars.
  12. OK the gas pump thing probably has more posts than the initial subject. What was the subject again???????? NJ - pay less than CT or NY and not have to get out of the car.
  13. That's cool, thanks, Matt! Call it a WTF year. No real push but maybe if I/we post elsewhere we might even get the 25. I'll see if the Brit car guys will sign up as six stars.
  14. I'm ready !!!! Spring BLOW OUT !!!!
  15. Jon, vent is the plastic cylindrical doo dad on top of the diff. "Stake" means drive a chisel point into the metal to create a "tab" to retain the seal.
  16. Careful removing the bolts. Light torque on those bolts - don't overcrank them putting them back in. Re-seal kits are around. Better to ask a good parts store.
  17. The guy who just replied ....and Andrew ...and Charlie ....and I think Pete mentioned it back last year. Three or more = few. Me , I'm going for the free car wash and of course the thrill of hanging out with Jesse's '74. Andrew wants to get the '73 wagon there. Charlie - multiple choice , well most of us have that option. :-p But not quite like Charlie does. My '78 is running pretty good now. ?????'s : Dave, Melissa ,Jon ,Keith ,Threaded Rod , Eric Lucas , NJ guys , there's still potential.
  18. One guy drinking "vodika" another buying free cars .... and I'm way too sober here. Jesse , I believe there is a bushing kit for those throttle shafts. Anybody?
  19. Spoke to a few guys who are serious this year. Bump for the thrill of it all. :-p
  20. 80's ptuey! Take it easy kids. No offense means - no offense. Just having fun. 80's Cars just aren't so historic to me.
  21. No offense but get this crap out of the Historic Forum !!!
  22. That's why I begged Charlie to keep every 5 speed he had. I still think there's at least one early 5spd. there in his stash.
  23. Yeah , gas is going to suck. We're getting completely hammered here in CT right now. Tax after Tax after ripoff ..... Only the regular gas is below $4.00 and that's if you pump it yourself. My wife is one of those people who refuses to fill the tanks herself......
