newly acquired BRAT from McBrat http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=94177 this is going to be a preservation / restoration / period upgrades many ?'s and parts request looking for: topper, hitch, tan horn pad - willing to trade gray, rear ash tray - black - for parking brake cover, trip meter reset button is there a way to turn OFF the center vents so they do not blow cold ambient air in the chilly winter? while still using them for "hot" air? how do the rear seats mount? round air cleaner box... is yours equipped with NISSAN flap motor and plastic air temp sensor controller? what is the metal box that looks like a relay under the driver seat for? is there an upgrade for the headlights, perhaps using h3 or similar bulbs? speedometer seems to be reading 10+ faster than actual with 165/13" what are you using for 13"? how to repair the cracked dash? is there supposed to be a strap for the glovebox door? reproduction carpet and vinyl for floor?? wild idea: spfi intake boot for cone filter?? carb top is round TURNING steeringwheel to full lock left, seems to want to suck itself in when almost all the way, is this normal? sure is convenient in parking lots and gas station how accurate is the fuel meter? seems more solid and rouger ride than gen 2 brat where does the A bar mount???? more pics will be added once I buy a NIKON D60

here's the formula: ea81 or ea82 engine, your choice 4wd d/r 4 or 5 spd, your choice, 5spd is less problematic - and better power ranges, just use matching driveshaft due to length differences - or go custom driveshaft with the 5spd d/r to avoid the hanger bearing ea81 or ea82 or xt6 flywheel ea82 or xt6 clutch kit datsun 510 or subaru LSD, try to steal one back from "the dark side" avoid the Vlsd for your intended purpose requesting more pics of brat and topper, confirm build date and serial number!!!!! does it say A69L??

reseal airbox search freeze burn seat insulated heater hose move to where it is warmer :-p -
remove compressor and install 5 1/2" long copper pipe and a bolt with washers and locknut " It is smack in the middle of where the belts need to go, can not NOT use it with it gone." you obviously are not trying hard enough!!!

loyale spfi 4wd 5spd built 8/91 is there supposed to be a speedometer cable?? there is only a rubber plug! speedomerer does NOT work searched and nothing answered this ?

trouble code 34 aspirated air thermosensor resistance between 00 and 0 voltage between approx 4 and 0 trouble code 21 air flow meter measure voltage between (us) (YR) (+) and ground (BR) (-) trouble code 14 air flow meter measure voltage between (ufix) (LY) (+) and ground (BR) (-) approx 5v measure voltage between (us) (YR) (+) and ground (BR) (-) is approx 1v when airflow meter flap is fully closed is approx 5v when airflow meter flap is fully open measure resistance between (us) (YR) (+) and ground (BR) (-) is approx 50 when airflow meter flap is fully closed measure voltage between (ub) (G) (+) and ground (BR) (-) approx 8v measure resistance between (ub) (G) (+) and ground (BR) (-) approx 300 measure resistance between (ufix) (ly) (+) and ground (BR) (-) approx 200 measure resistance between (us) (YR) (+) and ground (BR) (-) approx 50 to 500 from close to open adjusting spring tension should not make much difference when off boost!!
