  1. Yes but you seem to forget that I am using MSnS'e, will add a adj FPR, and walbro fuel pump, and no injector that I ever used locked up before 90-100 psi. 55 static +15 boost = 70psi which is incredibly reasonable. I do not understand how basic EFI principles that apply to every other brand car do not apply in this case. Let me know what I am missing. Thanks!
  2. In VA, you can have 50% front and 35% rear (transmittance) if you have both side view mirrors attached. But then it states: G. Nothing in this section shall prohibit applying to the rear side windows or rear window of any multi-purpose passenger vehicle or pickup truck sun-shading or tinting films that reduce the total light transmittance of such window or windows below thirty-five percent. "multi-purpose passenger vehicle" means any motor vehicle that is (i) designed to carry no more than ten persons and (ii) constructed either on a truck chassis or with special features for occasional off-road use. Guess I need 5 jump seats in the wagon area.
  3. That's the same model I posted 255 high pressure. Just different PN but still a WALBRO. Its the same pump I've used on numerous cars intank and the one that will replace the GL10 pump when it craps out. http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com/ has install kits
  4. Nice, that's about 274 cc/min. Until then, if one bumped up the fuel pressure on the stock injectors to 55 psi, they would flow 259 cc/min which is good for about 160 crank HP.
  5. http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com/html/ext_pump.html http://search.ebay.com/gsl392_W0QQfromZR8QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ3QQsbrsrtZd Russ, what's the flow on the SP183 and where did you get it from?
  6. Best bet is to find a low mile turbo for sale on here or Ebay. You can rebuild it at home for about $100 if you index the compressor and turbine wheels so they are installed in the exact same position.
  7. Something like this (86 turbo diagram): I had to thread small brass barbs on mine after ALL the nipples broke off.
  8. Many laborious hours at the library LOL If anyone needs quick access: http://dodgeneon.net/subaru/
  9. Rats guys, I pulled the 87 wiring diagram and there is no connectors: See 86 Red connector (DIAG CONN 1) has direct TPS wiring: See 87 TPS wiring - no DIAG CONNECTOR: So what does this all mean to you? No easy Megasquirt plug and play harness for 87+ HAHAHAHAHAHAH Just kidding guys. I'll have 85-86 EA82T plug and play Megasquirt harnesses available soon if anyone needs one. 87+ is going to be trickier, it will take destroying ECUs for the plug unless someone has some fancy ideas. Thanks for the help 87+ guys!!!
  10. LOL!!! You caught me. As soon as the rustoleum paint job is done, that pedal is next
  11. Sounds like fun, a FT with the lock off will still spin one tire. Lock on spins two tires.
  12. Could someone with a 87+ EA82T verify the location and connector shape for the diagnostic connectors. 86 EA82T has two of them under the dash that look like this. There is also two under the hood. Red and White: I need to know if they are the same shape and if they are under dash or underhood.
  13. Sorry to be semi off topic, what's the difference between the viscious center and the differential lock on the full time? I haven't installed the full time RX trans yet but I assumed the lock switch kept the front and rear and the same speed. Is it for street friendlyness?
  14. Yes, supposed to have higher clamping than the 4cyl clutch
  15. Water injection you say: http://www.autoweek.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060227/FREE/302270007/1023/THISWEEKSISSUE
  16. Both of those cars have a sophisticated knock feedback circuit. Doesn't really compare to a EA82 at all. On my 85 Shelby Charger (turbo) I gained more mpg by using 93 than I lost by the extra money.
  17. http://performance.thepartsbin.com/basket.php?makeid=31&modelid=504&year=1989&partid=137&brandid=843 $110 http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductDetail.aspx?mfrcode=FEN&mfrpartnumber=NU31144&parttype=244&ptset=A $149
  18. I got ~21-22 with a carbed EA82, 4" lift, 28" tires, ATX in a wagon driving 60-70mph so I'd think you could pull at least 24 or so.
  19. Cool, got worried real fast. I think the 4cyl flywheel is heavier than the 6cyl.
  20. For EA82 WJM: " Re: Does XT6 pressure plate have same bolt pattern? both the clutch and flywheel setups are IDENTICAL. I have done it before. there are ZERO differences. " For EA81 archemitis: " Re: Does XT6 pressure plate have same bolt pattern? i have xt6 flywheel, and pp on my ea81,with an ea81 disc. with no machining. "
  21. I hope not or at least that's not what I was led to believe in the other XT6 clutch discussions. My impression is the the XT6 PP will bolt to all 4wd EA82 flywheels, and this is the combo I was using for my swap (slated for this weekend).
  22. Sure but again, the BSPT thread does not come in any normal guage kits and the adapter is about $6-13 depending on who you get it from. Looks like he is offering a DIY approach if you've got a spare sender laying around.
