Hatch Patrol annual XMas tree run
Don't worry Austin, every rule has an exception. You've got enough experience behind the wheel of a Subaru to be able to handle it I bet. SHoot, me and you were driving these things before we ever heard of any old USMB. lol

I'll have you know that last year I made it in my lowered imp 100 yards short of where the two monster unimogs were pulling out the stuck lifted trucks before I finally high centered. I played tortoise and the haire with 3 lifted ea81s the whole way up the hill. That and I feel a hundred times more in control on the drive up there in the old imp. More pics of xmas tree runs. I think this first one was our first year.- Christmas Tree Run
You're very wrong about that. It is absolutely about getting xmas trees. There is also some fun to be had in the snow. We'll put up a post soon enough about it. We usually go the last week of November or the first week of December depending on the snow fall. This year it looks to be early. EZ- Facebook and stuff
rotflmao!!! I just checked my friends list here, you're on it bro.- Facebook and stuff
Too late man, we're already friends. We have eachother's #s should it be so important we have to tell eachother something. I just ate a burrito. I might fart later.- Facebook and stuff
Hey. I finally broke down and made myself a page. Please don't be offended if you are from here and I turn down your "friends request". I seriously didn't join it to be part of a social network, that's what these forums are for. You can bet that if you have my #, I really don't see one reason why we should need FB to keep in touch. I'd like to only use FB to find or keep in touch with folks I've lost touch with. It's my goal there to keep my friends list under 20, 15 if I can. See the South Park episode about FB to see where I'm coming from. Cheers.- The One Behind the Wheel! (Pics of Us!)

A few weekends ago I almost killed my Toy. Seeing your inclinometer pic made me think of it. I had mine pegged at 40 degrees, pitch and yaw. This pic kinda shows just how tilted it was, the second will give an idea of just how steep the hill was. Pucker action. Friends can go to my "just for the homies" gallery and see just how feaked out I was. First is me a little worried, wondering if it was gonna level out, the second is me thinking it was gonna go all wrong. lol My sister was having a blast.- Iowa: Timber Ridge Trail Ride 2010
Looks like some pretty soft stuff if you have to lay your rig on its side in it. <---- Mick's grin. Thanks for the shirt bro. My new background.- RC Offroad
Is that Tex' old 1 1/8 scale crawler? Bring it on over, I got a rock pile you'd love to meet.- Bremerton, WA?
Whatever, we'll go out there other times too. I'll call you when we do. Yeah, proper mud hole with a 3 foot bank to climb to get out of. I've had to winch out more than once.- Bremerton, WA?
If your number is the same, I'll call you when I go to the cabin next. Maybe the weekend after this one. The trail is longer than you remember, with a killer mudhole now.- RC Offroad

- Well it followed me home
Nice. It's like deja vu. Looks just like your last one.- Thanks USMB
Welcome finally. I saw your comment. Cool, I'm glad to know you still have that car. The wagon we replaced it with is a good car, but that one is still missed.- RC Offroad
Sweet, I saw the preview of the new Axial, what do you think of it so far? How you doin' by the way?- Tahuya Sunday?
I'll head over with a couple of buddies. We'll catch the 10:00 there and the 4:00 back to Seattle. I'm pretty sure they take the Fauntleroy Ferry. Wheeling, sightseeing, they'll probably shoot a couple of stumps, general good time. Not too familiar with Tahuya, so can't give a shake down about how difficult it is or not. I think two of us will sport 33, the other 35s.- Anybody up for some mid-week wheelin?
Yeah, those roads are all just Forest Service Roads. No real "wheeling", just dirt roads untill it turns to snow untill it melts off in the Summer. We take the imprezas up there to play in the snow.- Suby ... but just the heart
Welcome Boris. Funny thing is, just when we think we (USMB) knows all there is to know about these old cars, someone comes along with new stuff we didn't know. Your swaps sound awesome.- Waterwagon 3 Build-up, and the SJR+EJ Lift Thread!
Baddass Austin. The driveline makes it you.- Little Naches Trail 676
It was a 1980 DL, but had a dual range and an 1800.- WCCS 12 Site and Location are Set
Shawn's conundrum: Hmmm. . . Let me see. . . 4 1/2 minutes in a car doing Rally X. (Which is a blast, but comes every month or so all Spring/Summer/Fall [sometimes Winter] ) Or a weekend with old friends I haven't seen for years. . . ? Toughy. - Hatch Patrol annual XMas tree run
