  1. **EDIT** Plan on getting to North Gate Mall between 9:30 and 10 a.m. on Friday. We'll use the parking lot in front of Toys R Us, located at the Southern end of the Mall. (There's an onramp to the Express lanes rught there!) We'll leave Northgate at 10:00 a.m. sharp! From there we'll go South on I-5 to the Interurban Exit and pick up a few others. We'll meet at the parking lot that the Shell/Texaco and Jack in the Box share just off of the exit. We'll leave there at 10:45, no later than 11:00 a.m. Those who want to can break off from the group in Washugal to eat free bar b q at Audio Integrations. They will have a caravan you can join to take the rest of the trip. List: Me Wife Mom Father Tex +1 Yukon Art +6 LaureltheQueen +1 86ruguy Syphon Sparkster054 Superrallyroo Noah Galen Adam West Austin Subafly
  2. OK, I payed for three of us, the old man can pay for himself.
  3. I'll be bringing 3 of my family members with their Soobs too. None of us are registered.
  4. I wanna see the video of you guys driving off of this after the posing for pics.
  5. I know everybody's got lots of junk. Wanna part with that old caliper and those beatdown pads? I just need to get any kind of brakes on a car to move it. Help?
  6. No, not really. Ken and I are more busy and less enthused than in years past. Scoobyclimb's outing into the hills should be a pretty big highlight. A big caravan of Soobies off in the hills together. Should be some kind of first as far as #'s for an Off Road Gathering type thing.
  7. We lifted a brat and had it back on its wheels in 4 hours once. (pre-made kit)

I can see how your exaust got messed up. You can see the drag marks in the mud. (Hardly looks 1.5 feet deep though ) You need to take more of these photos And less of these.
  9. Rallitek.com Fuel management system. Cool stuff, piggy backs onto the computer. I have one installed on my OBS. It has much more zip now, get's 29 mpg on the highway now instead of 25 before.
  10. Just tires on wheels. . . 28/8.50/14 tsl
  11. I followed your link to the swampers on the chevy luv board. I met the guy this morning and picked them up. Bran spankin new, two still have all the nubs on the outer edges. Bran new wheels. I don't have anything to put them on, but couldn't pass them up. Took a lot of pming and phone calls, but he finally go them from the East part of the state and up to my neck of the woods. Might just mount them on imp wheels for shnits and giggles. lol

Those make it much taller. I like them, they'll make good street tires and still get the point accross. White lettering kicks rump roast.
  13. Since I'm only allowed to post photos of the Toyotas in OT, this is all you get. Or rather, this is what you missed out on.
  14. Crap, I thought you had left for home after that big log stopped you. By the time we got turned around and back down there, you were gone. Good for you for braving 311 by yourself. Going down that spot that's missing in the photos musta been a little hairy. I woulda liked to get photos of ya doing it. . . Here's a pic.
  15. Rob, I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't make it up there till after 4. Save some of your hatch for us. lol I want to camp at the far right tip of 320. If people have already grabbed that spot, then the old standby at the end of 510? Or is it 7930? You'll know, it's that knife edge rige with the shale drop off over looking Tacoma in the very far distance. Do you know the fire danger? Call me. Austin, call me if I can help. You need to borrow my mudders? EZ
  16. Around New Jersey? I couldn't tell you. Around here, they're everywhere. Lots of legacy wheels are available from mid 90s cars. I almost settled for a set of 5 spoke mags form a 96 imp to put these on. But as I was waiting for the guys at the j/y to pull the car I wanted out, I noticed these on a legacy that belongs to one of the emplyees. I asked if he'd trade, cuz the impreza wheels had bran new tires and his were bald. I have about 0 use for 185/70/14 street tires. He said yes, we all made out. Keep in mind the ones I got are aftermarket ones. "Sendel" is the brand. To answer your question about the wheel/tire combo I have in the Marketplace, I honestly can't remember how I came accross those wheels. I've had them 4 years or more. . . What do I need tube bumpers for? I'm not planning on crashing into stuff. lol Maybe an A bar type thing to protect the Y-pipe, but no bumper. If I get the cajones, I'll cut it like Austin did. I still wanna see that in person first.
  17. Kumho Venture M/T, 27/8.50/14 or a 26.5, whatever. Just what you're looking for. 4 mounted and balanced and taxed and delivered for $401.00 from Discount Tire. They work fine on unlifted rigs.
  18. Taller. Like this:
  19. This to improve my lot in the (friendly) competition between Me and Austin and Andyjo. Traded away some struts and springs for the wheels. The have some killer offset, it will fling plenty of mud at WCSS8! They're a lot lighter than the XT6 wheels too. Can't wait till it's finally lifted. . .
  20. I'd like to say I thought of it, but my neighbor told me. Send that vaccuum hose up to the air intake, just out side the air filter somewhere. Your engine will breath in and suck what little water or condensation that gets into your disty right into your air filter. The amount of water isn't enough to cause problems. Done.
  21. Crap. It's been some time since I learned different than I put in that post about the similarities of the OB versus Forester. I went in and changed it in the FAQ over a month ago. I just up and spaced this post. Trust me, it's not my intention to mislead people, I'm honestly trying to help.
  22. Looks good. Two ideas for improvement. . . Move your radiator, that way you can pull the bumper back and regain the approach angle you're giving up with how you have it now. You'll be closer to the frame rails, more leverage for pulling. Build it so the winch turns sideways and bolts to the front of the bumper. Makes it much stronger. See the photo below for reference. Sorry about the plate being in the way. A plate above it will strengthen it signifigantly.
  23. OK. First, I used Outback Struts. They seem to clear tires differently. Second. I used the 14 inch wheels, which may or may not have a different offset. Third. The set up in the rear of a coupe may be different than a wagon. (The brat, hatchback, and wagon ea81s all have different shock mounts in the rear, although they use the same shock) Fourth. I only mounted the swampers onto my imp for a short time, and only did it for shnits and giggles. I would suggest hunting down a different set of wheels with a little more back spacing. Maybe some forester wheels. Theyt may cost you 35 bucks each or something, but I would stay away from big wheel spacers. (just me)
  24. Now you see my reason. . . Look at the white part showing up on the outside of the red. That will show up , I know cuz I neglected to paint that part once.
