  5. I only gound off a little bit. Jeff
  6. I had the 27's on the front there so its sitting a little raked, I just put the 30's on and its a little off but thats ok, I had to grind off a little on that strut right on the bottom side, it was rubbing on the CV Axle pretty good. Jeff
  7. Its a 6 body and an 8" strut lift, making it 2" over on the 6" lift. The front is a bit higher than the rear but there is no motor in it yet so she should sit leavel.............. I hope.............. Jeff
  8. Wow that is funny................. Jeff
  9. Got a little more done........................... Fine work by Will here........................... Got a bit more to do but the hard part is done now............ Jeff
  10. Cut straight up on the fender well with a zzz, then hammer it back in to the fender well....... 31's wont work on a 2" lift, you'll have to remove your dead peadle if you want it to work. Jeff
  11. Boy I have missed a lot on this thread.....................I'm still in..... Jeff

  14. Was that T-roys uncles old car? It was like an 86 AT??? It looks almost the same, IIRC it got towed or somthing while STI-WOLF's uncle had it.......... Either Way It looks good and clean. Jeff
  15. Got some work done, blocks came and are on butters now Very fine work By Bill (the Beast I drive) Now for the rear to get up, and then to wheel it................ Jeff
  16. You are going way too far with this Idea, If you are going to do all of this, Go get a gen3 Wagon, once its all said and done you are going to have so many alterd parts you'll be confused what you need, This car you are trying to do it all to is not worth it, Trust me I've wheeled Gen 2's and all the problems you have had will still be a problem in the future, As for flexing and all that, you have to weld your rearend, then you will be able to go everywhere you want, This again is a thread going south. as long as you have the 2" lift on it it will be like this, if you get too much flex in the rear you will always break axles, Which I have said before, If you get too much travel in the rear you will pull your axles apart or shatter the bells like gen 2's like to do, For what your car is, deal with what you got untill you build a 4" or 6" lifted wagon, then all of your car will be at the same level, and no 2" over stock.................... Jeff Jeff

  18. You didnt drop your crossmember right? If you do that will give you more room to "flex". Jeff
  19. You have a 2" lift on it thats why, your struts are pretty stationary since you have replaced the "travel" of your strut with 2" blocks, Weld your rearend and its fine, you'll still be able to go everywhere you want. Jeff
  20. Well the front is all buttoned up except the Strut tops, Bill sent them yesterday, so I hope they are here soon. I still have the steering to do but except that, I'll be able to set it down and let it chill all on its own!!! I'll post more pics once they get here, Ive seen the blocks that Bill made and they are magical........................... Jeff
