Climb under your car and look..................... if you move the diff and whole show back, you'll have to have a new Driveline made, I have no Idea how you would make the trailing arm longer, Just look and see what you come up with. Jeff

Things are lookin done, all but a couple of things but, I cna drive it now... runs good with and EA81 in it, and all the gears shift good, Oh and its tall. It sits even with my Brother-in-laws 96 yokon on 20's:eek:, any ways Dan (86GLSUB) and I went over to the parking lot next to my house and got some pics....................... Here is Butters.............................. I have to first off thank Woody for all of his help with the welding, Will for the struts in the rear, Rick, Yohn, Dan, Richard, and Bill the Beast for the front struts, Just had to give credit to everyone that put a hand in helping make it happen!!! It still needs a skid plate, bumper, Sliders on the rear front blocks, and some misc. things but over all its mobile............:grin::banana::banana: Jeff

What causes 85 and 86 GL's steering wheels to be loose?
Right on I'll give that a try, I got all the covers and stuff off, but I couldnt tell if there was a bearing up in there somewhere or what, so I figured to go this route. I hope that will help it, if not fix it. Thanks Jeff

What causes 85 and 86 GL's steering wheels to be loose?
I have had 6 different EA82 from 85 to 86 and the all have loose steering columns, is there anyway to tighten this up? 87 therough 89 donthave this problem, It looks like its just on the frist shaft before the first knuckle, I tried to swap it out with one from an 87 but none of the plugs match up. If anyone has any Ideas let me know. Jeff
