  3. This one was lifted a while back I never posted pics of it but here they are now............ 2" lift and a new motor..............3eyed made the rear struts.... Greg had the tires and wheels 29X8.50X15 TSL Super Swapers, It looks good...................... Jeff

  8. Only one has 3 lug nuts on it. As for a Wheelin trip I went back to work at Wilber Ellis, So I'm looking those long 80 hour weeks working 7 days a week again. I hate it, I'm looking hard for a new Job, So I'm out on a Wheelin trip for now unless its on a Sunday, after noon................................... Jeff
  9. Climb under your car and look..................... if you move the diff and whole show back, you'll have to have a new Driveline made, I have no Idea how you would make the trailing arm longer, Just look and see what you come up with. Jeff

  12. The front is all linked together, with pipe, the fenders have not been cut at all.............. just needs a little triming on the front fender well...... Jeff
  13. Things are lookin done, all but a couple of things but, I cna drive it now... runs good with and EA81 in it, and all the gears shift good, Oh and its tall. It sits even with my Brother-in-laws 96 yokon on 20's:eek:, any ways Dan (86GLSUB) and I went over to the parking lot next to my house and got some pics....................... Here is Butters.............................. I have to first off thank Woody for all of his help with the welding, Will for the struts in the rear, Rick, Yohn, Dan, Richard, and Bill the Beast for the front struts, Just had to give credit to everyone that put a hand in helping make it happen!!! It still needs a skid plate, bumper, Sliders on the rear front blocks, and some misc. things but over all its mobile............:banana::grin::banana::banana: Jeff

  17. Just about there, Woody got the shift linkage, and steering shaft welded for me, Rick and I got the motor in, and running for a few seconds, then it died, I think its the Disty, but it will be on the road tomOrrow!!! Jeff
  18. I figured it out.......................... I replaced the whole column, seems to work pretty good now........... Jeff
  19. Today Woody made the rearend hanger and we got the new steering column in, Things keep moving forward................. Jeff

  21. I would swap everything off an 87 but not everthing is the same, I'll get some pics and show the differences. Jeff
  22. Right on I'll give that a try, I got all the covers and stuff off, but I couldnt tell if there was a bearing up in there somewhere or what, so I figured to go this route. I hope that will help it, if not fix it. Thanks Jeff

I have had 6 different EA82 from 85 to 86 and the all have loose steering columns, is there anyway to tighten this up? 87 therough 89 donthave this problem, It looks like its just on the frist shaft before the first knuckle, I tried to swap it out with one from an 87 but none of the plugs match up. If anyone has any Ideas let me know. Jeff
