  1. I know you've seen it before will but I just had to post it. Jeff
  2. 220/55/390 They are hard to find tires for. Jeff
  3. I think I'll be stuck in the house for a few more days, On the nicest days of the year, but I just want to get over this. Jeff
  4. I would do that but everything on this car is "off". all the shift linkages and even the steering coulmn is all loose from knees smashing into it. I think all the motor mounts and tranny mounts have been messed up too. Oh and reverse is a pain in the butt to get in. So I'm just going to do the 86 sedan Idea. Jeff
  5. I'm out for sure now, I got the Flu so there is no way I can get mine together.let alone hold my head up straight. Sorry to let you down Scott. Jeff
  6. because those are cool pics. you did a good job there, plus it was fun. Jeff
  7. I'm going to need a buffer, a big buffer!! Jeff
  8. That's the plan, I am going to put the tranny, axles, hubs, and rear set up on an 86 GL10 turbo sedan and lift it. Kinda sucks to see one go down but I needed one bad, just hate to see one that I put so much time into come back like this. Jeff
  9. I got power windows on mine, the 86 had Manual windows but I got the power on mine. Jeff
  10. My brat has 30's on it and I drive it just like its stock I have no problem. The 86 Wagon I bought from Scott has 30's too. its stuck in 4 low and it drives just fine too. seems to get up to speed a lot faster than my brat but thats about it. I turn 3500 rpm at about 55mph. I have no problem with it. just go for it!! 30's look sweet Jeff
  11. Here is a clean pic I like this one. Jeff
  12. A few months ago I had an 86 Wagon for sale and my buddy bought it from me for 450 bucks this is what it looked like I bought it back to day for 50 bucks this is what it looks like now The motor runs and the thing still drives on its own. just needs a radiator and a headlight and I think shes good to go!! Oh and what was hit, a 2007 PT Looser......... The subaru was going 55 to 60, at least that's what I was told. Jeff
  13. Scott I don't know If I am going to make it or not. I know that the maroon SJR Wagon would make it up there but might not make it back down. Woody still ahs his car in the shop so I cant do the EA81 thing yet, But if anything the next weekend would work a whole lot better. That way I could get mine going and Rick might be able to get his going too. I just hate to miss a chance to go wheelin, but it aint lookin to good at this point. Oh and on top of all that I got to short block Woodys motor and get it all ready to get dropped in by friday. Way to much is going on and I still have to work every day! If you try and shoot for the next weekend that would be a whole lot better for me. Jeff
  14. You got one laying around? The only reason I would do it this way is because I have 2 hanging out on the floor, and I think that the EA81 is better than the EA82. Not that I am trying to bad mouth the EA82, but they kinda scare me, I've had kinda bad luck with them. Jeff
  15. I did a search on the SPFI EA81s but I was trying to find more about an EA81 Carb in a Gen3. I know that it seems kinda pointless to do but I want to use the intake off of an EA82 and the long block of an EA81. I hope I am making sence. Has anyone everdone this? Is it a Better Idea to just use the intake and long block of the EA81? I would like to use the EA82 intake to have everything match up linkage wise. And for the dist. do you use the EA81 or EA82? I should do a search for that but as I was typing I just though of that. You can even let me know if this is a good idea or bad idea. this is somthing I've been kicking around in my mind, and today Scott in Bellingham stoped by, and I told him about it. After I told him about it I started to think that I don't know if it will work or not. Anyways I'm rambling on so let me know what you think Jeff
  16. ya the curb finished that off...... The STI lasted about 3 or so months. Jeff
  17. Chris, its so tall that the hood took the lights out in the shop on the top pic you can see all the glass on the floor from them. Jeff
  18. I can wait to see it go up there. I think I should have posted this in the offroad section....Sorry bout putting it here. Jeff
  19. This is my buddy Woodys 86 Sedan with an 8" lift. Here is what she looks like in the front. He just finished the front a little bit ago. This is it sitting on the ground More pics to come!!!!!!!!! Jeff
  20. Good to hear you got that bad boy on there finally. Sorry that I have not helped you one bit with the XT but I had to go back to work. Trust me I would love to go work on Axles rather than Drive a truck that just wants to break in half. I'll give you a call in a few. Jeff
  21. Sounds good to me but We'll have to talk Jordan into it. Jeff
  22. All the bolts came out just fine, they didn't feel like they was anything wrong with the threads but...... Jordan and I have decided to start from scrach so we bought audio files EA82T. I just think that would be the best for right now it needs to be running by monday or tuesday Afternoon, so This is just quicker. I'll need all this info for later. We will be rebuilding it sooner or later. Thank you for all the help. I'm sure you'll see this thread come up again sooner or later. Jeff
  23. Is there anything you can do If you strip out a head bolt in an EA82T. Me and my buddy Jordan went to replace the head gaskets on His EA82T and 3 of the head bolts just spin, 2 on one side and 1 on the other. I think that this is what made the HG blow in the first place. It looks like someone has replaced the HG's possibly before, and the water pump, but while tightening the head bolts they stipped them causing them just to blow again. I would like to know if any one else has found a way to fix this issue, let me know if you have!!! Jeff
  24. People will just look at you funny as you pull around in the gas station, But I have never had any problems on the road with mine. Only in the snow, you have to kinda watch your self because the rear will kinda want to come around on ya if you are in four wheel drive, and in my brat in the snow it sorta wants to drive straight. Other than that Its all good!! Jeff
