  1. Will do!!! Jeff
  2. I know you can get in the fir Island one, but.......... you get in big big trouble. people accross the river can see you there and they will call you in. That is part of the "no fly zone"!!! Jeff
  3. The one We got was one step up from the bottom one. There was no way I was going to Get the one with hubcaps. Those are Cheap cheap cheap looking. It also is an AT with the sport shift it's pretty cool. Jeff
  4. 18 to 20 years from now. We hit the 55 miles range on the odometer now. it will have to have about 301,000 miles on it before it goes up there, only because Tami would kill me dead if she knew or saw it up there. I don't want to smash a good rocker panel on a stump or anything!!! Just joking!! Jeff
  5. This car is not really for me it's for the fiance. I have long hair in the fashion of a Mullet, There for I belong in a Brat or 89 touring Wagon:) , meanwhile my fiance is a superviser at a doctors office, She is the one that will be driving this thing the most. She gets all dressed up and looks very professional and is very professional , so she will fit right in with this rig. I don't see this thing going up to Walker Valley for a mud run or anything like that, So it'll fit with her a lot better than it would me. I probably won't even get to put my Iron Maiden Cd's in this one:lol: . But the main thing is, We have the driveway full of subaru's now, Except one Ford Ranger witch is on it's way out of here this next week. I like the Idea of a Subaru Only house hold. My Mom and Dad are coming up to the dealership with us today to. My Dad is thinking about getting a Legacy. So maybe we can get the whole family to covert from Crappy GM and dodge cars and trucks to the gloriuos World of Subaru:lol: Jeff
  6. I think it is for the raido and sat. radio. Not to sure yet though, We have to go back to the dealership in about 45 mins so I'll know more about it after that. I just hope I end up with a bunch of subaru hats and stuff. No I think we are going to learn a whole bunch of stuff about the car I'm excited. This is the first car we have ever bought brand new. We got it with 22 miles and we are up to 55 miles now!! Jeff
  7. This does not look tough at all, 13" tires and no power But with a lot of work They do. I do not plan on doing this at all to the forester. (anytime soon) Jeff
  8. Hey Chris why don't you H6 it!!! Jeff
  9. Yesterday My soon to be Wife and I took a drive out to Anacortes, on the way back we figured we would go look, Look at new cars. Of course the first dealership we would go to would have to be the Subaru one, so we started looking at the New Legacys. They wern't what Tami was wanting so we ended up walking by the new 09 foresters, I never really cared for them to much but the 09's look good....... So we bought the silvery gray one for $26,000 bucks. And got rid of the 8MPG Dodge pickup. Here is what she looks like. I took these pics about 15 mins ago so they are fresh. This is the 3rd one sold in Skagit Co so far, and this one just landed 2 days ago! Hope you enjoy!!!! Jeff
  10. If you would like to take a trip up north we may be having somthing come up pretty soon, I just have to fix the wagon I just got done fixing:-\ and then I'm good and ready for another run. Jeff
  11. one eye replied to Phizinza's topic in Off Road
Here are a couple from today, Chris, audiofile, Took a wrong turn in the mud hole with my car. This is now supposed to be the wheeling rig but........ It was fun if anything. Jeff
  12. Well today I was on my way down to my parents house where I have all my subarus in the "new" Wagon and I seemed to have forgot to tighten down the crankshaft pully on the front of the motor. It came off and then the timing belt came off right after it. So I seemed to have made just a little more work for myself. That's ok though because the head I got from scott Seems to have a couple of bad lifters in it so I gotta dig back into it a bit and change a few things around. That kinda made me mad but I had no one to blame but myself.:-\ I'll dive back in on monday and fix her back up Jeff
  13. I put 64,000 miles on my brat, if I would have known that I had a broken motor mount I would have only broken 4 rear CV axle. I never broke one before I welded my rearend. Jeff
  14. Are most of those down south? I've been to evens creek two times one time wheeling and one time just to watch and meet up with a few guys. That is a 250 mile round trip from my house and for scott and will add 90 more miles for them. I think that's a little too far. Jeff
  15. Here are a couple of pics I had to pound the fenders back a bit Notiming belt covers at all, pics are not that great I had an extra grill but it looks bad, need to get a new one Jeff
  16. Just watch it, Sorry if it has been posted already http://youtube.com/watch?v=PRTLpOxu4gY Jeff
  17. All done Except the welded rearend and bumpers. other than that, Good to go. Runs like a top, EA82 with no timing belt covers what's so ever, it looks real cool but I'm still kinda scared about the whole deal. anyways Week one, Got new motor in, Week two rearend and bumpers, Week Three Go wheelin' I got some pics but they look almost the same as the last ones so I didn't post them. I am going to get a group shot of all my subarus tomorrow. I'll post some of them up. Jeff
  18. I got it now and it seems to work great. It only issue is removing or replacing the motor you don't have any room to work with, you cant jack the tranny up or you'll break the axle. other than that it's good to go!! Jeff
  19. Ok you were right they are 235's I could have sworn that they where 30's, anyways I got it running about a half a hour ago. She runs great. And with no timing belt covers whats so ever. I have a few other little things to take care of on it and it is ready. I'll get some more pics in the morning of the motor. Jeff
  20. right on I'm gonna try the axle slide idea that sounds like it would work thanks to everyone who replied. If the axle idea doesn't work I'll just start making my way down the list and try the motor mount Idea and so on and so fourth. Jeff
  21. I recently bought Scott's 2" lifted 86 GL wagon. I bought it with a bummed motor, no biggie I just put one together and started to drop it on tonight and the bottom bellhousing studs on the engine Start to go in but as you shove the motor back the motor mounts start to hit the motor crossmember. Most of the time once this happens I would just jack the tranny up a little and the motor slides in where it is supposed to. but in my case with the 2" lift the axles cant take the tranny going up any further or they will go snap. Should I take the motor mounts off and them put them on once the whole deal is set up in the car or is there something else that I could do to get the motor in corectly? Jeff
  22. There is always Medford Pit too there are a few places where you can make trails and drive right through the woods with creeks and everthing. Jeff
  23. We used to have a place on fir island we went to Called northfork right along the river on the north fork. Anyways it got shut down because all the meth heads moved down there so now no one can go down there. that was the best place in the world. now it's gone. Jeff
  24. I recently moved into the "Getto" myself, I had a Semi-truck at my house parked in the driveway and some kids wrote Westsidekings down the side of the trailer. It took me about 2 hours to clean that off. I wish I could have found out where they found the paint at cause it was the nicest blue I've ever seen, I just kinda clashed the white and orange truck. Jeff
  25. 30X9.50X15's not 235/75/15 the 30's are about a half inch taller. Just got the timing belts on,Chris is grabbing the intake manifold and the disty needs to go in. After that she is getting dropped in and should be ready for wheeling. April 12th thats a Saturday, Walker Valley how does that sound Scott? I set up a post in the trails and events area if you are up for it or we could go up in Wills area (Concrete). Jeff
