  1. Does everyone who has an EA81 that is lifted and a welded rear end break the rear axles everytime they go out and wheel. Is there anyway to fix this? Today there where a few of us that went up to walker valley and we all broke at least one axle. I'm sure if we had more time and axles we could have kept breaking them. If anyone has an Idea to fix this I'd like to know.... Jeff

Oh right on I made it to the last swithback before the clearing on the mainline trail. that's where I broke my axle at and got pulled by a 4wheeler (quad) that will really lower your self esteem quite a bit:-\ but I got back out of it and back down to the bottom. Jeff

Well we went on the Walker run today, It wasn't that great. We seemed to have 3 different groups up there since some people had very little patience. So It ended up being all screwy all day. Anyways I got a coulpe of pics of mine, One of woodys, a few of Wills and a few of robs. All, ALL the gen 2's broke at least one or two or in Robs case 3 rear axles but It was still fun. hope You had fun Rob! hope you don't think we are all morons. After Walker Will, Rob and I went down to my Parents house and played in the mud down there that was pretty fun. now a few mud pics Rob didn't know that he had both rear axles broke until it was to late, this is the first time I have ever done the double pull it worked! Hope you like them..... Jeff
  9. Well I got everything ready. So now i'm just sitting here waiting for 10:00 to roll around. Woody and will got theirs all sealed up so we are good to go. It looks like there is going to be a jeep and samari coming too................sounds like it's going to be a good time. Oh and it is raining here right now!!! more mud:banana: Jeff
  10. I ended up getting 2 more since on the price list they give out said 11 bucks and they ended up charging me 18.50 an axle plus a $3 core. So I got 2 more. We should be able to wheel all day long now. Jeff
  11. Hey jess I got a motor if you need one. I posted it up on the trail thread but I figured I would put it here too. I have a short block and long block, I think that the long block one has one of the threads stipped out in the head but there is the short block just chillin on the floor in my shop. let me know if you are interested. Jeff
  12. I got two of them. one is a short block and one is a long block. Jeff
  13. Rob I got your axle for ya. I'm going down to pull a part in the morning and I'm gonna get 3 or so more. I figure we'll all need them at some point, the worst part is we are just , as scott would say:grin: . But the good news is You are covered!!!! Jeff
  14. Well...................... I got the fuel pump off for Woody...........and I found out what the motor mount sound is.........I tore a bolt out in the Frame area in the front and all the bolts (2) in the right front lift were totally loose. I tightened them all up so I hope that helps, I'll have to get that one welded up at some point. Anyways I got the spare in the back and just need to top it off with anti-freeze and I'm good to go. Is there anything you need from Pull-a-part I'm going down in the morning. Jeff
  15. So, So far on my end it looks like this is who's going 1Me Jeff 2Woody 3possibly todds (Todd Martin) 4Will (I assume) 5......... 6......... 7......... 8......... Gloyal and buddys,do you still think you might come or is that not a deal at this point? Jeff
  16. That sounds good. I figure if you don't break them sooner or later I will, so If that makes one more sube to come wheeling with us you are more than welcome to it. Jeff
  17. No problem. Can you change them pretty easy like in the parking lot or do you need to put It in the day before? Jeff
  18. Scott did you get that thing all sealed up tonight, and get it to Idle? Will and I worked on Woodys Brat today just needs a Fuel pump and he's all done. Two nights, Two cars, not to bad. Jeff
  19. No biggie as long as you're there, that's what matters. I'll build two of them tomorrow and hook you up. do you need one or two? It'll be good to bring one extra. Jeff
  20. Rob I might be able to dig up two axles if you still want to come. Jeff
  21. It was good to hear it run. Very good work Scott I had my doubts about it working but It does. This set up sounds like its gonna have alot of power on the top end. Job Well done!!!!!!! Jeff
  22. My brat makes a funny sound if I am off the gas. It sounds like a chain too but I know that it is a CV axle, It has done it before. You might check your motor mounts that is what mine is. the motor torques over and streches the axle out and kinda pulls the Axle apart, it doesn't break the axle but its putting the screws to it. Jeff
  23. That looks very cool. Great idea!! Jeff
  24. I just have to say, This is getting a little crazy.........and I like it:grin: Jeff
