  4. jesus christ....450 bucks...i cant see a speck of rust on there...and no dents cosmetically its beautiful... if u dont have any luck with that cable i can send ya through the mail....i pulled it out of an impreza a while back... i converted my fuel door to a flat fuel door...but never got around to installing the cable...i just use my knife to open the door lol (the redneck in me)
  5. after reading these kinds of posts....i get so confused as what to F'n use... I normally use 10w-30 and i get the cheapest kind....however last time i changed my oil, wal-mart had a special on the 5w-30 vavoline...so i went to 5w-30 haha infact i gotta do another oil change very soon...miles is at 206,003 and i always change it at 3,000 mile intervals so im overdue..... am i crazy for thinking this way? I'd really like to know what kind of oil would be best for me...... I drive 25 miles to school and 25 back from school everyday (mostly highway) and then at night i delivery chinese food haha....so im always turning the car on and off and constantly stopping at stop signs and stop lights....what do u suggest

  13. my g/f's impreza does that too....same sound same everything...let me know what theoutcome is
  14. i had the same problem for awhile...and then it turned into a leak if i fill my tank.....mine leaks where the filler neck connects to the tank....its a hard to get to place...but u can stuff your hand above the rear mustache and feel a rubber part...unless its just my car that has it....anyways something must have rotted and now im screwed
  15. how bout if you were to remove the strut? would that not help any? im just curious b/c im doing this too..and i was pondering of the easiest way to do this...so i can expect to have my car working for the next day

  17. on a 96 impreza AWD 5-speed 2.2 i still havent had the time to swap my axles...but im thinking this week is when it will happen....just wanna make sure i have the right axles before i dedicate my day and then something goes wrong also im gonna change my struts....so if i remove the strut(but leave the balljoint in place) i should def have more than enough room to remove the axle right? -sean
