  1. TOB is Throw Out Bearing. Got it. Thanks! --GoatBoy--
  2. THANK YOU!! Temporarily I have wired a toggle to the blower fan but now that I know that is the part responsible I can fix it up right! Thanks to all!. --GoatBoy--
  3. Does anyone know what this part does? It bolts right between the firewall and heater blower fan. It hast three coils like heater elements. Two of them on mine are broken. But I don't know what it is for. Any ideas?? --GoatBoy--
  4. Yeah. It would be nice to hear of someone already knows what electric fans are the easiest to mount in there. --GoatBoy--
  5. I looked at all four of those relays and none of them had any hint of blue on the prongs. --GoatBoy--
  6. Is this true?? I was thinking of running electric fans anyway. But if I do and gain HP out of it!! Sweet! --GoatBoy--
  7. The fan speed switch only worked on 3 or 4 before. But now none of them work. I can hear the air switching the venting from defrost to heater and what not. So I know I have vacuum to the climate control unit. Also, when I would switch on defrost or AC it would supply vacuum to the AC Kick-up solenoid. Now it doesn't. I checked the fuses they are fine. I checked all four of the relays that reside directly behind the fuse block, they appear to be fine, didn't test them just inspected them. I am at a loss. All this happend after I installed a new stereo on Monday. I didn't mess with any wiring though. Just the original radio wiring. Any other directions I could head here?? :cornfuzz: :cornfuzz: :cornfuzz: Thanks in advance. --GoatBoy--
  8. I did not know that the blower fan will not operate if the vac lines are not connected. They might have came loose. I will check those. Thank You! --GoatBoy--
  9. I'll check them out and see what they look like. Thanks for the offer. I'll be in touch if need be. All this rain up here in Oregon, its hard to keep you windows from fogging without a defroster. On another note, does anyone know what those two relays behind the pass. side strut tower are. They are with the vac. can. for the cliamte control. --GoatBoy--
  10. I guess I could just swap them and see if it works again. I have a few spares I picked up at the JY. --GoatBoy--
  11. Very true. Could have just vibrated itself smooth! Not going to fall off just no bite left in the splines. --GoatBoy--
  12. I think what he meant was that the shaft was turning inside the hub as he was tightening the castlenut. And the tire wasn't rotating meaning the axle was not connected with the wheel if it could turn without the wheel turning. Am I correct? If this is the case I am baffled as to why that axle could spin freely inside the hub like that. It should be locked to the wheel and not spin unless the wheel/hub was spinning. --GoatBoy--
  13. -Edit- So what are those two relays by the vac. can. on the pass. side strut tower?? -End Edit- There are two relays by the vacuum canister that the climate control system uses. Are these also for the climate control? It seems I have lost power to my cliamte control. Fuses all check out fine but all of a sudden none of the climate control settings work. The blower fan doesn't turn on and there is no difference when switching between any of the settings. Defrost Heater Bi-Level AC, none of them do anything. Is this a relay problem?? All help is greatly appreciated. PS - I noticed this after installing a new car stereo. It is possible that I could have inadvertently knocked something loose in the dash. But wanted to rule out relays before I pulled the stereo back out. --GoatBoy--
  14. Welcome Home John! I made a similar trip back in October. But I was on my 2003 Honda VTX1800C. (my bike has more cc's and more HP and torque than my roo, 1795 cc and about 90 hp and 100 ft/lbs of torque FYI) Went from Portland, OR through NV, at an average of 95 mph, to Tucson, AZ in three days. Made it from PDX to Reno in about 10 hours and from Reno to Vegas in 7. Was in Tucson ,AZ for a week and then came back up through the Grand Canyon, 4 Corners, SLC and Boise. Also a three day return trip. All and all I put about 3700 miles on my azz in a week. One day, from Cortez, CO all the way through SLC to Boise, ID was about 700 miles. That was my longest stretch. All in all I went through 8 states in a week. It was a blast. And I got paid for it. Had to make a trip to our AZ office and I had just bought my bike. So I took that instead of flying. The Plane ticket would have been $304 round trip. Instead my mileage added up to over a grand. So I made money on the deal. SWEET Anyhow, glad you made it back all safe and sound. Sorry I am going to miss you guys this weekend. I have a funeral to attend that day and won't be able to make it. --GoatBoy--
  15. Mines about the same too. Sometimes I get up over 5k before shifting and for fuel economy probably somewhere around 3500 or so. --GotaBoy--
  16. No tickets from the police about noise? What about emissions and inspections? --GoatBoy--
  17. Its a universal muffler. I believe you can run it either way. I think depending on which direction you install it there will be a different back pressure. But I don't think it will matter to much. Install it one way and maybe drive it a couple of days and then flip it to see if it is better. it won't hurt anything. --GoatBoy--
  18. Ah. I found some of your pics that show them. Doesn't the Roof Vibrate really bad though? I have 6 1/2's in the front doors and 6x9s in the back and a pair of 12" Pioneers in a sealed box. All running of a 6 Channel 580 watt amp with built in crossovers. Powered by a Rockford Fosgate CD/MP3 deck. Kicks rump roast! I should get some pics up. Maybe I should give it a name. You know like "Roof of Boom" only maybe "Boom-aroo" or "Bass Wagon" lol Sorry to hijack the Thread. Didn't mean to. --GoatBoy--
  19. How much could my little roo tow? Its kinda gutless on hills without towing a trailer. --GoatBoy--
  20. Could you explain your "Roof of Boom" to me? lol Just curious to what you've got going on? --GoatBoy--
  21. Do you have anyway of posting a picture so we can see exactly what you are seeing with your window? I would like to see what the gap looks like. Maybe give us some better idea of how to help. --GoatBoy--
  22. The old bolt is still in there. I have a dremel tool. I'll just cut it off with that. I really don't want to rip up the carpeting. I think I'll just cut the bolt off and then run a bigger screw in there. Thanks for all the input guys! --GoatBoy--
  23. I have nothing against Hondas! I have never owned a Honda car. I own a Honda VTX1800 streetbike and have owned other street bikes by Honda and I have a couple of off-road Honda bikes and a Honda ATV. But isn't it Sacrilege to say your going to buy a Honda on a Soob board!!!! LOL --GoatBoy--
