  1. Mine just slides off but I have seen some on other car makes that have a screw in the top or in the side of the Rotor. If you are replaceing it anyway you could try and pry it off. Carefully of course. -- GoatBoy
  2. Who made the dual carb intakes for these Subs anyway??
  3. Why would you want to remove all the lines? I believe the fuel and return lines are the ones on the driver side towards the top of the carb. They head over towards the strut tower. They attach to the carb one over the other. -- GoatBoy
  4. GeneralDisorder--What size lift was that? Are there any performance regrets? Also you mentioned removing the AC, that wasn't necessary was it?? How bad do the larger tires effect the day to day driveability? I have driven lifted Chevys with big old tires before. Up to 38 inchers. So I don't mean handeling. I mean power wise. I mean heck, my motorcycle has a bigger engine and produces more torque and HP then my Roo does.
  5. Crappy. Then I am at a loss. Unless your fuel pump is producing enough pressure but then I guess you wouldn't be able to rev it up either. But hey look . . . I got you rpost some attention!
  6. Maybe something made it past the filter and is clogging your jets. Mine was still trying to die after changing the filter. I pulled off into a parking lot and grabbed my carb cleaner in a can and sprayed the heck out of the carb. It helps if you have two people though, one to rev the gas to keep it from dying and you to spray the carb down. It fixed my problem anyway.
  7. I can't find your pics. Can you post a link?
  8. Maybe the fuel filter? I just had to do mine on my EA82 non-turbo. Was running fine but if you blipped it it would die. Thought I would start at least with an idea. Bump your post back to the top. --GoatBoy
  9. What does it take to do a lift on an EA82 Wagon?? Money wise and work wise?? Don't want nothing massive but want something
  10. I could be wrong but it bulbs are measuerd in Lumens and Candle power. So maybe that number is a measurment of one of those.
  11. Everything is hooked up as normal and the AC works fine, other than causing a High Idle. The idle with climate control off is about 850, stable. Just passed emissions too. No vac leaks. If I unhook the vacuum line to that kick-up solenoid then when I activate AC or defrost I loose about 100 or so RPM at idle. But maybe that is the answer if I can't adjust it. I would prefer, obviously to keep everything as it should be. Maybe I'll call the service department at the dealer.
  12. There is a threaded shaft sticking from the back of it and a nut on that. I tried backing the nut off and turning the shaft and nothing it won't budge. Other than that it is just a sealed vacuum diaphram. So I am at a loss. I could modify the arm on the throttle that it makes contact with so that it doesn't open the throttle so much. But I would think there was another way.
  13. My last bump I promise! I need to know how to adjust this down.
  14. How do you adjust the AC Kick-up Solenoid? When I hit my defroster it kicks my idle up to almost 3 grand.
  15. I got it started. Turned out I had it right but the choke valve stuck closed. Go it all figured out and timed properly. Running damn near perfect for almost 300 thousand miles I am impressed!! Thanks All!
  16. Was I suppose to use regular ATF in that pump? Should I drain the resevoir before starting the car?
  17. Still can't get it to start? Wore down the battery. Charging now.
  18. What happens if you put regular Power Steering Fluid in the Pump of an EA82?? I just did it! Then heard I wasn't suppose to.
  19. Thats a good way to remember it. I gave up for the night. I will play with it again tomorrow. Thanks for all the imput guys!
  20. I still can't get this thing to fire up. GRRRRRRR
  21. Thanks so Much man! I'm gonna go try this again!!
  22. If you can real quick and the firing order is 1-3-2-4 spinnig clockwise??
  23. Cylinder number one is the nearest the front of the car on the passenger side, right?
