  1. I think that if you Post here the Part`s Number / Part`s Photo(s) \ Sizes, etc... Can be Easier to Help you.
  2. Nice Brat! ... and Well Done Job too! ... I Like It!!! I have a Thread `bout How to Repair Damaged Threads on Aluminium, I Hope it will be Helpful for You, See: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=73277 Good Luck!
  3. Well... I Really Don`t Like Long Bed Pick-Up Trucks, and Seein` that Subie, it Reminds me the Rear Part of the Pontiac used as "KITT" on Knight Rider TV Show (just Remove the Rear Glass on that Pontiac... ) but that Long Bed Brat doesn`t seen too bad... I think it is the First Long Bed car that I Like... also I Like the Openin` Crystals Roof. I saw Pics of Those Long Bed Brats Before, but this is the First Time I see a Video on any of `em... Thank You!
  4. I Run it with Super or with Regular Fuels, the only two things I`ve Noticed are this, First: With Super, there are absolutely no noise on valves, even during Hard or Violent Acceleration, except just a Li`l bit when I Accelerate Hard it while it Runs under 1100 Rpm`s, and the Soft Noise only come for less than a Second and Only with a Fully down Gas Pedal, under Load Conditions... as Rpm`s Increase over 1200 it Goes, and That Happens Very Quick! With Regular Fuels, the noise is More Noticeable and last a Li`l Longer... Second: My EA82 Performs almost Equal with Regular or Super Fuels, but it "Swallows" More Fuel to do the same Job, if it is Regular... Really. In Honduras, Fuel Octanes are Poor, Less than other International Standards I Think, `cos While Gas Stations` Claims 92 Octanes as Peak for Super, and 86 for Regular; independent Laboratories have encountered only around 89 Octanes on Super and around 82 on Regular... :-\ ...and the Worse is that those Cyphers aren`t Always the Same... I want to Tell that I`ve Reached to the 25º as the Right Timing on my EA82, by doing "Test & Error" experimentation, Runnin` it in Different Load Conditions & Tracks while Movin` Disty Timin` untill Reaches More Power plus More Tranquil Engine at Idle, and I Also Gained Faster Acceleration & a Very Peaceful Idle, and it Starts inmediately with the Key... Always! ...and have been like that since the Weber Swap. Thinkin` in the "Weber" Factor: it Increases the Engine`s Quantity of Fuel / Air Mixture Breath, That`s why I Used the other Parts (SuperStock Coil, Single Vacuum Port Advance on Disty ... ) in order to Help the Engine to Handle that increased Breath Power. I Hope that Explanation can Help... I Suggest you to Try that on Weberized Subies, worth Try. Good Luck!
  5. Nice Dash Setup you Have!!! ... ... So "Knight Rider" Stile, I Like it!
  6. Well... my EA82 White Wagon is 1985 too, and Over 245K ... it only becomes Noisy (tod) when I do the Oil Change (I use Motul 20W50) With Fresh Oil... it Quietes after a Week or So, and then You can`t Hear it Too... Amazing for a EA82! ... But my ER27 Yellow Wagon is More Noisy...
  7. I Agree with all the Airflow Ideas, but Also I have another Idea that Might Help: Increase a Li`l bit your Engine`s Timing Degrees. Let me Explain: As Part of my Weber Conversion (on my White EA82, 1985 Wagon) I Added a new SuperStock Coil, a Single Vacuum Port Advance on the Distribuitor, and Closed almost any Vacuum on the Engine, Except for the A/C ... and I Noticed that the Engine Performs Better with a More Advanced Timing, Really. It Runs Great at 25º ... twenty five Degrees gives Better Performance in my Case. So, I Suggest not Only to Correct the Airflow, Try with a More Advanced Timing... Worth Try! Good Luck!
  8. I Suggest the same Thing I`ve Done, it can Help: Rear: Swap the Springs with Honda Accord`s Front Springs, They`re almost the Same Size, just Thicker and can Handle more Weight. Front: Swap the Springs with Ford Tempo`s Front Springs, They`re almost the Same Size, just a Li`l bit Thickers and they got Two extra (More) Thinner Turns, to Increase Li`l Bumps Absortion. Good Luck!
  9. Yes, I Believe I Can Help you, Just send me a Pic of the Part that you want to Compare, or even better: its Part Number; and I`ll search here for you.
  10. Thank You! Yes, that`s the Right Name I was Searchin` For. The Dealer`s People know me Since 1985... (Since dad Purchased the White Wagon, I was a Child then, Goin` there with my Dad) ...it is a Long Story...
  11. Nice Video!!! ... I`ve Never saw a Subie with Tracks! ... Now I`ve Already Downloaded it
  12. Finally, I have Solved my PC and my Subies Problems!!! -For Now- The Dealer Gave me (Cheap) the Whole Set, they Collected the Parts from the Dealer`s other Stores... I Took this Picture of It, before Installin` it: And Now, My White Wagon Runs Great Again! As you can See, I only found one of the Gearbox Sustainin` Parts... What is the Correct Translation for that Part? I Really want to Thank you All for your Kind Replies!!! Best Regards! JesZeK
  13. Really Nice Subies, I Like the Great Photos!!! Excuse me: What is the Meanin` of TN Snow?
  14. This makes me Think about Dirty injectors or Clogged openings on the Fuel Injection System... (a Very Rich Fuel / Air Mixture), but it also can be due to a Sticky P.C.V. ... I Suggest to Check & Clean those Parts. Good Luck!
  15. Well... I`m so thankful to Live Soo Far Away from Salted (or Other car Damagin` Things) Roads... Enough with our very Bad Roads plenty of Mud, Rocks, Holes, bad Drivers... :-\ ...etc. Nice Cherry Subie!
  16. is your Subie Carbed? ... if So, it might be a Stickin` Choke Plate... or Dirty Spark Plugs / Carb, along with bad Gas / Air Mixture. So, I Suggest you to Start by Checkin` those parts. Good Luck
  17. Thank you for all your Kind Replies!!! I have been soo very busy @ Work lately and my PC Fried another Hard Drive... but I`ll fix things Soon... I`ve Asked to our Local Subaru Dealer for the Parts, and Salesman gave me a Reasonable Price for a New Pressure Plate along with the Ball Bearin` and the Clutch`s Disc; also, the Salesman said that it only Left One of each part in their Stock , and it might be the Last One... :-\ ... He`ll "Reunite" the Parts within these days, as he said that the parts are: one (Disc) in Tegucigalpa City, Another one (Bearin`) in Comayagüela City, and another (Pressure Plate) in San Pedro Sula City`s Stock... I`ll Post here as Soon as I made any Progress with the Parts. I think that I`ll keep the "Small" setup config for now... Again: Thank you for All your Kind Replies!
  18. Could you Post Pics of your Carbed EJ18? ... I have never Seen any Carbed EJ Series Engines. Thanx!
  19. CONGRATULATIONS!!! Very Nice & Well Done!!!... ... So Useful!!!
  20. Well... I Believe Not. Sizes Doesn´t Match, EA71 is 1.6L and EA82 is 1.8L, also Bore, Stroke, etc... I think that you Should Ask where to Find EA71 Pistons at the USMB "Market Place" Forums. Good Luck!
