  1. not only does she have 405k on her now, but shes feisty enough for a 4200 mile round trip around the west coast and on to the famed rubicon trail! no i didnt do the whole thing, but i did play on the slabs and raise the eyebrows of many jeepers
  2. great find man!! the whole auto retract thing failed, complete failure, stuck half open
  3. first gen leg with auto belts, they failed...duh they all do customer wants to know if i can install seatbelts out of a newer legacy in her car, anyone done this? im sure its easy but want some feedback before i spend her money
  4. 1991 lego, original head gaskets, just basic maintenance , also lifted 4 inches
  5. if you want a turbo engine- you will need to modify your xmember for an up pipe, or use a turbo member legacy turbos used the ej22t- it will bolt in fine, your ecu will probably run the turbo, but not safely, you will need a stand alone harness, or swap to a turbo set up you can use your trans and rear diff. but they will live on borrowed time if you boost them hard. shrapnel for the trophy case definitely
  6. make it fit, i just use the one or two holes that line up
  7. ive relocated the switch many times, dash, console, steering wheel on a rally car lol if the switch itself is ok, just relocate it
  8. well crap its an aux filter. which means you should have had a tow pkg from factory. weird look here-http://parts.subaru.com/a/Subaru_2005_Outback25L-4AT25I/_52093_6022085/AT--TRANSMISSION-CASE-ATF-FILTER/B13-154-09.html
  9. no filter, probably cooler lines. the filter is on the drivers side trans case on those years
  10. yes a vw trans cam hold that power, they do thousands of times a day, if they are in decent shape the ej22 into a vw is a common swap
  11. i recently had the same symptoms. i discovered that the stock high mileage fuel pump was fine on the stock engine, but the cams allowed more air and fuel (duh) and the pump couldnt keep up at higher rpms. replaced it with a new one and tahdah not sure if that will help, but thats what happened here
  12. i have many times, i have an 89 loyale right now with 2 inch spacers in front only, just add to the strut tops, no need to mess with cross members or steering good luck
