83 Coupe Love ..Restore Progress ( Pics page 2)
kiwi subbie replied to Bucky92's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
My panel guy costs 40 dollars a hour and materials on top of that. I got him to repair and straighen a english prewar chassie. it cost me $550. Probley on My 73 GSR coupe it will cost me 2k in panel beating and rust repairs. Its all time comsuming so sucks up the cash :-\ Your coupe looks great Im still looking to pic up a RX sometime if I can find one. I will settle for a GLF if I cant find one lol -
Brake Lights on my Brumby do not work, Any ideas why? My warning lights do not come up on the dash that they are not working so I didnt no they had stopped working. The rear red night lights do light up when switched on. Ive had a trailer on the back and those rare lights dont come on either. Ive checked Fuses and they dont seem to be blown. Thanks

Yea but he said a EA81T engine out of a 1985 wagon to fit in a brat. I thought the 1985 wagon would be fitted with the EA82T Engine?

Thanks for that info. I was planning on using Por-15 on the chassie of my project. I asked the guy from the paint shop and he didnt really answer any of my questions. But that info above has helpped with what I wanted to know, So thank you -
I would love a 360. Very hard to get here. Saw some on a Japanese website for sale and they wanted about 5 to 10K us dollars for them. Ive never seen a real 360 in real life

I was going to do same thing with my old 1990 brumby. Desided i wouldnt go thru with it in the end I did aload of research on it. found out from info from the guy that built that one in Ozzy was front heavy. also would have to move raditor out and put it in the back. Cutting frame rails etc... unless you do what Subafreak said with tube front end. 6spd would be hard to fit in wouldnt it? 5 speed can be a tight fit anyway unless you fit a lift kit? -
