also im using a spare hatch i have to make a tail gate the glas will be up for sale or trade i am leaving it in and cutting the bottom of the hatch off so it wont be getting broke.

hey guys was hangin down at jerrys and was really getting into the hatchbrats and i decided that wile i was doing all this work to tiny that he would look good as a hatch and i cant say how good he looks chopped the top three inches behind the 'b' pillar and off at the bottom of the other two and off it came moved my hatch farward to the front seats. Its taking shape im gonna be welding the rear doors shut today and start the welding of the rear hatch dont want to warp the roof. so i think im gonna lay a couple of 3 or 4 inch beads spaced across it then body culk it and sand it to make it look good. also got my brat seats in the back.(and yes the rear wiper,tailight and defroster still work. and with the curv of the hatch it makes aprfect spot behind the drivrs seat for anything that might not be able to go in the bed. here he is now thats a befor if u didnt know what he looked like

YEAH WELL MINE WAS FREE and i do have the original tool kit and its compleat. wrenches and all. but really now it runns great. smooth shifts great. dosent pull. oh yeah she is beautifull

also verry glad you are ok always hate so see a wrecked soob but its great taht thay have such strong passenger comartments. i know its not the best time to ask but was her motor salvagable or is the insurance comp taking it in? not to be a bother. once again really glad ur ok and i will honk if i drive by there. lol befor i put a new carb on my soob i was the only one who could drive it. it took a great deal of peddle feathering rocking from break pendal to gas peddal while working the cluch. man after day on the trails with that car my legs where sore.

huh? i didnt i pulled the engine out to check them they are all torqued why would you ask that? ( also yes i used a torque wrench)

checked those all are tight. all pullys and belts ar good also the alt ps and wp are all good. could it be the oil pump?? i removed the timing belt and turned it with a wrench and it spun free no ruff spots at all. im gonna pull the valve covers today and check the valve springa and retainers. any one els know of anything? thanks for the help. umptanum lol i think is how you spell it. i was thinking that i might go up the night befor so if any one is worried about not making it the same day thay can catch up or come over early and camp then wheel all day or as much as possible on the 21st. yeah manashtash is fun there is a cool mud hole up there. still looking for people to go. it would be really neat if u could make it over rob. id like to see the hatch in action. you too if ur around rooinator. im not gonna be wheelin hard just gettinga little muddy and maby hit up some hills. rob

the third eye thst i have has a different grill style than the quadlights.it wont fit with the egde of the headlight rimms

you know i was actually thinking of that but i have a third eye id like to put in it and the third eye wouldent work with the qwad lights. they have a difrent shape to the inside of the headlight rims

yeah well i have the original key for mine booyah and the tool kit and the jack under the hood and and and the chrome roof rack an an an uh chrome wings and caps yeah yeah what. some how after all i have said ther is still a large void inside me :-\

thats weird how old is the car the ac is in cause on my turbo car (86) i was taking it apart and nothing came out just a little oil but that was from the compressure. :-\
