  1. Sure I can lend a hand. I should be home Saturday.
  2. It is possible to bypass the heater core. I have done it when my heatercore sprung a leak. Just check it out.
  3. Check under the hood, maybe the previous owner bypassed the heater core.
  4. Oh thats right. I remember you asking about the weather a few months back.
  5. Thanks for the good info guys. I'll let you know what clutch I end up getting.
  6. What are you coming to reno for? Too bad you dont have enough time to meet up with some of us. Like you said, there is always next time.
  7. HAHA! Yes Brian you were truly missed.
  8. What year and model did you use for a donor? I know just about nothing about Chevys. I read the write up and it said early 80's model????
  9. I need a clutch for my 1984 4wd ea81 wagon. The retail stores want over $200 for a clutch kit, which is way to much. I have been looking at ebay, but I'm a little confused on what size I need. I want to double check my facts... I need a 8 7/8 (225mm) disc and ea81 after 1983 and all ea82 clutches are the same. Is that right? I don’t want to buy the wrong one. Anyone have a good source for buying clutches at a good price? Any help would be great. Thanks
  10. Dave, I have the same problem on my 86 ea82 and it's carb related. Maybe your accelerator pump is going out or has an air leak. Or maybe its because your car has 300,000 miles on it!
  11. Go here http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/
  12. Awesome pic's NVBigBlue! I love the one with the burning tire rubber/clutch. Yeah you can upload your pictures into the gallery. Then post them like we did.
  13. HA! Good stuff!
  14. I just posted a similar question. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=45677
  15. Here are some pics of us stockers! We had just as much fun!
  16. Looks like Brian is not going to make it. His RX broke down in Blue Canyon.
  17. Yeah stop on by. I almost forgot!
  18. So 10:00 at the Shell? Or more like 10:30? It should be warm enough by then. It was 11 degrees this morning in Cold Springs!!! BURRRRR
  19. NVBlue come on up! Yeah I dont have a lift or big tires. I'm taking the EA82 that I just raised the rear suspension a notch. Hope it helps a little. EA82 represent!
  20. Oh geez I'm retarded. I just found the post. Looks like a stock subie killer!!! Hehehe
  21. Where is this picture of "moonrocks" you speak of? I dont have a portable air compressor, but im sure you can air back up at a gas station.
  22. So is that where we are meeting? The Shell station? I think thats a pretty easy landmark to meet at. I can still drive up to your place and help brian get his wagon runnin. I guess timing all depends on when Brian arrives. All of us locals can meet at 10... but Brian... well you know how he is. hehe Do any of you have a GPS? I think geocaching would be something fun to do in the future. Read up here.
  23. Hey Brian, is the Y pipe on your wagon any good? (That might be a dumb question huh?) Yeah, who wants to buy a 86 DL wagon???? Or a Legacy sedan shell? I'll look foward to this trip! Looks to be a big turn out!
  24. So which subie should I take? The ea81 with a bad clutch and a leaking Y pipe? Or the crappy ea82 with no power? Anyone wanna lend me some money so i can fix my car and not get evicted in 2 weeks?
