find you an egr equipped intake manifold, swap it on, and read the usrm thread about tricking the ecu, I would link it but I'm on my phone at the moment

That is untrue. You want the gasket to match the bores. There is a reason all the ej22t dohc hybrid builds run ej22 head gaskets.

high mileage diesels would be the 50mpg+ diesel engine cars that almost everywhere in the world gets but here, all we ready get are diesel pickup trucks.
