  1. i have to take the heads off anyway for new HG's. i decided on a TD04 rebuilt turbo. still searching for 550cc injectors. i am going to get a 3in tbe. i am going to skip the cams. FULL tune up and fluid flush were already planed. new t belts. ill grab a new tranny mount, engine mounts. so my main question now is. with this set up can i expect a decend boost in power and what is the most cost efficient way to run my boost past 13psi. im running near the end of my fund and i wanna give a big thanks for all your input. you all have been very very helpful. :clap:
  2. i was thinking of buying a JDM ej20tt and dropping it in. would be the cheapest way to go. will it fit?
  3. this is going to be wild i have never owned a turbo car before so im in for one hell of a time
  4. say i got rebuilt heads, new turbo, reground cams, 3in turboback ex. what would be a safe psi?
  5. so should i run the stock turbo unless i get stronger internals or will the turbo you recommended be alright with stock internals. what exactly is a stand alone ecu?
  6. was lucky enough to find a pearl white 91 t leg that is mint inside and out! needs head gaskets and a new turbo i paid 800! so questions i have for you fellows since i have only worked on ea82's is. im excited to start this project. i will get pictures up soon for everyone to see :banana: :banana:
  7. i do belive the fuse only engages the rearwheels when the fronts slip making it awd but even with the fuse out just the rear wheels spinning it can still tear the vc up. comon guys i know your not all at the show!
  8. can i tow a awd legacy on a tow dolly if i dissconnect the rear axel from the diff? or can i still damage the VC? its a awd 5spd 91 SS

  11. what should i look for when shopping for a legacy? im coming from ea82 land. possiably buying one with blown auto tranny and swapping for 5spd, is that as easy as it is on a ea82? any advice is appriciated
  12. this is what i thought all along. so the symptioms i have point to a bad rad? i had the radiator removed 2 days ago and it all looked healthy?

  17. with the new tires on my car kind of shakes? i dont know the best way to put it. bouces slilghtly? could this be off balance tires. also it pulls more to the left then before i knew the alingment was off already but is it just more noticeable with larger tires? basically what im asking is if these are problems that can be taken care of with alingment and balancing? and is there anyway to make my suspension stiffer/longer? my rears run close to the well and i know one big bump would make them rub with my worn out suspension...

  19. looksing for some stiffer suspension on my loyale. does anyone know anything thats cheap and effective. and maybe something that will give me an inch or two more clearence? ive been looking on jcwhitney...
  20. both my fans ar ein proper working order. i dont use my ac so i dont think that it has to do anything with it. the tstat i have in it now is a subaru tstat i got last sept
