  1. i know it is getting fuel forsure. and to answer. the pump was bad to begin with because it did not pump. it did not prep it did not do anything even when out of the tank and i had it wired straight to the pump. the new pump works and preps. i get gas to the engine and it works. so lets have no more talk about the old pump. new one is in and working. it will not work even when the throttle is open at any amount. i am at a loss and have not felt like working on it for a few days. ill get around to it when im tired of taking the bus. someone help me before i get a jeep!
  2. ok so i bought a new fuel pump and have a bad sender still. but all i want is it running first. so with the new pump my engine is all plugged in and is getting spark and fuel. shocked myself to make sure it wont start!! it turns over and is very close. also are these 0 clearence engines? i dont want to bend my valves if the timing is off but im pretty sure its not. any ideas as to why its not firing up? how do i reset my ecu? is that a possibility since i replaced my fuel pump i have heard of cars having to get the ecu reset after that part replaced. hope this makes sense and someone can help
