  1. Here are the pics I have so far. http://s781.photobucket.com/user/mykeystoy/slideshow/WCSS%2015 I hope to add more later and none of my vids have audio and quality isnt there sorry will have a better camera next year I promise. Thanks to the powers that be that the show was a good one. Most everyone seemed very well behaved Saturday night Friday though was a different story.. My only complaint is the quiet vs loud sections I think should be mapped out better there seemed to be much confusion. All in all that is my only complaint and had a great time. I Met some very cool cats and would love to chill n grill with them sometime before next years show or maybe just a cruise Mr_Loyale jj421 Marcusgl10z28 Twitch Hondasucks Danny and Manny and their mom whos name I have forgotten my apologies. Mike
  2. thats how I would go Ben.. It avoids seattle and more of a straight shot. Then just follow the signs.. If you pass the Mall don't worry the next exit will work and there will take you where you need to be. Signing out couple of last minute things then off to the shower and roll out!
  3. We wont be in any hurry, if your info was sent to MR_Loyale then you might catch up at one of the rest stops.. We may need both depending on how much coffee is consumed during the drive.
  4. If it does wind up being the disty module unless you find it at a really good price and they usually are not. It is much simpler to replace the whole disty and if bought local you also get some kind of warranty.
  5. Was up way too late and I am up also to do some last minute errands and chore before leaving the house. Still think I will be ready to roll around 11:30-12. Any word from Skylar?
  6. Fortunately we have no hills to speak of.. The LED's look pretty awesome! and for now I am also rocking the cassette to headphone jack though only till I can find the owners manual for my deck circa 1994 anyone? lol
  7. difficult but not impossible to do in a day maybe two. I am sorry to hear it though
  8. Spent some time rewiring a few things Sunday. I was triggering too many things from accessory power so I had to run a relay. Had a relay die that was running my engine fan.. I know I should have just bought and used a factory fan switch and I will. Just not till after the show. Ran some fresh wire and a line out converter so I can run a small amp. After testing and setting the gains I think I need a crossover to stop a bit of lower freq's out of the 4.5" front speakers. Cleaned up the interior of the car and put it all back together. I added some USMB swag to the back window..Pics will have to wait till there is daylight. Mike
  9. Skylar as long as you have been driving it around and haven't had any weird noises or other things that make you wonder you should be fine.. a longer road trip would not be amiss.. Today would be your last chance to get that done before the work week actually starts. We will be heading through Puyallup sometime around 12ish I think.
  10. Actually I was very tempted a few weeks ago to pick one up from my sons friend.. I have helped her keep the car on the road so yeah I know how funky they are after having only GLs.
  11. The tach is run off the coil.. I do not know of any other wires for it.. Could be gauge cluster related too.. A gen 1 canopy will not fit a gen 2 body.
  12. no the switch is just a piece of plastic essentially with wires soldered to the back. Try moving your steering wheel a little to release the lock mechanism while trying to turn the ignition.
  13. I would say get a definative on the carb then look into a rebuild (or at least taken down and cleaned out well) You might also find a board member do it.. There are a few. If it is still dieseling then the solenoid would be my next move but I think most if not all your problems may be in the carb itself. Mike
  14. Oh gotcha.. Sorry I forgot about the rears.. I am hoping one of the members picks up a deal with the guy from Crossbred Performance.. That is about my only option since I seem to be too slow when XT6 stuff becomes available someone gets to it first...That is very low on my list of mods currently. I will worry when I get closer to a full EJ engine and tranny swap.. probably never but at least it is a goal.
  15. I thought for sure one of the boards welders would have jumped all over this for something on the side.
  16. I love it! I hope it is as fun to drive as it looks.
  17. If you have the control arms retapered for the 6 ball joint and it is the same as an ej ball joint why not ej hubs too? Just wondering is all..
  18. The wash n wax also from Meguires works really well if you are not so much into waxing.. Probably not as good as individual wash or wax but still some of the best stuff I have ever used and I have tried many different types.
  19. Very nice dude. now hurry up and get back to the neglected hatch.. it wants to be lower
  20. since you just replaced it will now outlast your tranny.. Then break right after you get the new one in.
  21. Agreed.. You have done a lot of great work on that car.. I would feel guilty bringing home another Brat when mine is being neglected.
  22. I haven't update in a year or more so here they are. Finished weber.. still think I need some tuning I think the mileage isn't up as far as it was before the carb swap.. might be my foot though. Took the front plastic bezels grill and all light mounting hardware sanded and hit with a few coats of Rust encapsulator. Used bumper and trim paint on the front plastic..I was soooo tire of beat looking chrome. Took out the headliner sanded the roof rust on the inside due to aftermarket sunroof hit that with rust encapsulator. re-mounted the relocated roof cross support. Added new window mount radio antenna. Sanded and painted cowl below the windshield. Touched up windshield wiper arms.. too much glare. Attempted to seal the sunroof on top of the car.. came out better than I had hope but the first good rain will tell. Got all four new speakers in but still have one to mount.. drivers side front. I opted for 4 1/2 instead of 3 because they have a noticeably better frequency response and for those of you that know me that is a big deal. Jumpered my power window relay because it is dead and do not know why there is power in a power out with two grounds. I think that gets me up to date thus far.. maybe more this year after the show but but I may not post anything till next year. lol Mike
