  1. The 3 that showed up were decent, I have meet up with two of them other times. But I do know what you are talking, some NASIOC guys are just douches. Talk about Turbos and deep dish wheels all day
  2. I'm trying to picture that, Anyone have a picture of it? Sounds cool! BOSS is also another AU brand adaptor, trying to find one is a little difficult, but is another option. -Tom
  3. Thats really clean! Congrats to you Tom!
  4. So, is this thread finally dead? Any revision in sight...?
  5. Props on having the motivation doing that in the rain. I hate tearing into Suspension in the rain (Been there, Done it) Whats the story on that EA82 wagon?
  6. Read my Engine code on the SPFI EA82. Its a 34 (EGR Valve Control) How do I fix this? My car runs just fine, so I don't think the EGR is messed up. From what I remember, the EGR kicks in after 1100rpm. So what is my next step?
  7. Ok, I will do this when Yeah you can't trust Chilton all the time, some of their torque specs are wrong aswell Thanks!
  8. From the Center of the wheel to the Top of the fender lip, is 17" -Tom
  9. Yea '98-01 Forester springs and OB struts. Sure I can do that for ya. I will do it tomorrow. If I don't get a picture I will post up the measurements.
  10. Oh I see. Ok thank you! I'm used to the old GMs, where the Engine Light doubles as the Code Light. Thanks guys!
  11. Any new strut will be better then what you have now, all components are built to an O.E spec, so I'm sure the "Mighty Lift" brand will be of the same quality.
  12. Yes, you have the idea. If you don't want to make this stuff your self, PM Scott In Bellingham (USMB name) if he can send you just the front strut spacers and crossmember spacer. You can also visit SJRLift.com for more info about his kits. Cheers, -Tom
  13. I have totally been there last winter. God I hated that! ebay isn't a bad place, I have never not gotten what I bought, and the items were always as described. ebay is better now days then it was 5 years ago.
  14. Thats snazzie! When I do valve cover gaskets on my EA82, I am totally going to paint the Covers nicely.
  15. I'm sure they are fine too, I replaced mine with "Armstrong" brand which Parts hut "Bumper To Bumper" stocks. No issues. I hate old struts in cold weather, standing under your gate and then "Slam!" Lol.
  16. See, thats the funny thing. Long ago when I first got the car, the engine light was on. It would come on after start up and then start flashing non-stop for as long as it was running. I found out that ment there are no codes in the system. So I always thought the "Engine Light" flashed the code. The book (Chilton) says you have to drive over 7mph to enter the system, if so. how do you look at the ECU and drive? Will it just keep flashing the error code even after you stop? As for clearing the code, I have not. The light still comes on and off whenever it wants. I thought I read somewhere that this is a sign of a bad or going ECU? At least the car runs just fine!
