Old Subaru's from little Iceland
Thats pretty amazing! But your cheating, its only RWD Try it with 4WD ingauged Pretty cool what 90hp can do, the key is to break wheel grip with the tarmac and just keep the RPMs up. Nice video..

But really, these cars are built as is, the strut mounts don't really need any reinforcement as long as the well is solid (Which your gonna fix) - you could jump this car many times and nor bend/buckle those mounts, the front towers might rip but dout it. The struts would crack before the unibody

My '95 Legacy: Trashwagon10
Haha well thanks. Hmm road trips for interior cleaning (Thats a thought) Not sure about that any time soon, but it is an idea.. Sorry I have not updated this thread, I have been busying Helping MilesFox with and such. What I am doing next is replacing these seats with '94 First gen seats as they are firmer and feel loads better then these stock seats, these stock ones feel to GM'ed much like the rest of the interior. Pics to soon follow -Tom

So once you get to the stage where your ready for welding, who are you gonna have do it? Paul? Fox could prolly do it if time allows. and i would trust Fox more then Paul as it sounds like he wanted to do a bunch of other crap and doesn't really get the whole old Subaru thing judging from his attitude. -Tom

We have a guy by the name of MilesFox that can show us that aswell. Amazing what can be done with a 90hp Flat-4. Think if he got behind the wheel of a 300hp Flat-4 -Tom

92 Loyale Front Drive Pulley
If an impact doesn't do the trick, you can use a breaker bar with a pipe, have it touching the garage/driveway floor on the driver side of the car and bump the starter a time or two, this does the trick every time and alot of people on here will back this idea up. Just make sure the breaker bar is hitting/resting on the floor on the driver side of the car, so when you bump the starter the bar will not turn up and hit the fender. The engine spins clockwise (If faceing the engine) Torque on that Crank bolt is 50 ft.lbs, you can exceed that a bit to make sure it won't back off on you later on down the road. -Tom

Takin on water!
I have seen this car in person, its not bad where the struts mount - its mostly weaked where the bump stop brace is. So I wouldn't swaet it being "Unsafe" to drive for a bit, just take it easy going over bumps and cornors (Keep extream stress off it) Hopfuly Steve will get in touch with his buddy ASAP.
