  1. I think this is a sickness, taking pictures of other peoples Subarus in a parking lot Haha -Tom
  2. Lol, I thought about that when I put the bumper on. So far no one seems to care or notice. thats one reason I'm not gonna put a spare tire on it, I'll juts mount it in the rack Safari style I mean its not really blocked, you can see 926 RCN, so they can (you know what) Haha. Speaking of cops, I got pulled over for not having the covers on my top lights Can't do anything these days. I'm supprized they don't say a lift is not street leagle -Tom
  3. What I did today! about 1/2 ft. deep grass mud mix So guys, are these better then my last off-road pictures Hahaha! -Tom
  4. Hell yea! thats a nice one. Wonder if the owner rigged some sort of ram air type deal onit, why else would they have a scoop on the side of the hood (Where the air box is) Did you stick around to meet the owner? or leave a note? -Tom
  5. What I did this weekend, Installed 118dB Hella Supertone horns: These sound awesome, and grap peoples ears -Tom
  6. Hell yeah, you go Jeff!! Thats the glory of wheeling a Subaru, people will think you won't make it, and then you've reached the top while the Jeep guys have shered U-joints like mad. Lift Subarus are awesome cause it shows you arn't some pretty boy that needs everything to fit inorder for it to work. -Tom
  7. Just to add to this, If it don't fit, force it. If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway. Hold the wheel and drive, Unless it comes off. My own quote Haha! -Tom
  8. Thats cool, yea you might be a tooth off on the T-belts and that could be it, or maybe the IAC or MAF is dirty. It wouldn't happen to be a Sedan, would it? Cause I've seen a dark gray sedan once around downtown (Old world 3st) when I had to go to the Coby abbot building. As for the white one, no havn't seen it. I don't go in milwaukee much or atall. My mom did see a dull light blue EA82 wagon a few times in her parking lot at work by state fair. I don't see very many if any old Subarus one or two wagons from time to time (Old people driving them Lol) Well, If you ever see mine, be sure to beep your horn, flick your lights, yell. whatever it takes lol (Beleive me, you can't miss me Lol) Pictures in my profile btw, T-belts are fairly easy to do, Miles Fox has a great right up about it and other things on http://www.Trashwagon.com He was also in Milwaukee and Butler. -Tom
  9. Oh, so you have about 2 extra gallons then stock. Does it use an internal pump? (New to me) -Tom
  10. How big is your fuel cell?
  11. WTF! Not cool in any way, shape, or form.... This is an ignorant idea and should not be carried out. But, to each their own. -Tom
  12. Aww, Scott. no more center consol, where am I to put my beer? :-p But really, making good progress. is this just still a Mock-up, or is it finaly coming together? Does look good though. -Tom
  13. +1, Miles Fox has great write ups on Trashwagon.com. I used his Oilpump/T-belt guide the first time I did that job along with cam seals. To bad he doesn't seem to come on here anymore. He used to be local (In Madison and Milwaukee WI) dunno where he is now (Hes a Fox, slinks around lol) Nice job on the Cressida, looks much better white (Is that a genuine toyata color?) Boast all you want, I too wish I had skills like that (Just something you don't see much of these days) Anyhoo, haha yep I see he's your little helper Wet seanding or just dry? I just did a dry sand with 400grit on my fenders and it worked awesome (Some things are just over kill) -Tom
  14. What I did today: Removed A/C radiator, Fabbed two metel brackets one is bolted to the hood release bracket, Then mounted my set of 118dB Hella supertone horns to that, then added the second bracket to the back of the two bolts that hold the horns to the first bracket. It acts how a strut tower brace would (Keeps my horns from vibrating all over, basicly strangthins the first bracket) I'll get a picture tomorrow. now all I need to do it wire them up along with its relay and I'm done! And yes, all this fits behind the grill, I backspaced the first bracket a little (hence removing the A/Cs rad) -Tom
  15. HAHAHAHA! Must be a Wisconsin thing lol.. I can't beleive it! someone else from WI!! Whooot! what do ya drive? This is ground breaking jrfan, hey looks like you had a good time. your stepdad looks like a kind guy Clean Cressida, Everytime I see one around its got cancer really bad. So how did the engine swap go? should have been pretty easy since you didn't go with a carbed EA82. -Tom
  16. Mudduck, Yes that true lol. just wanted to see if there was anything, I'll check around at prices and such As for painting the pugs black, I had them powdercoated white for a reason Lol, be kinda a waste of $300 don't you think? Hehe. I understand you arn't aware of them being white (Just razzing thats all) :-p TF, Yes thats what we have on the Blazer Ceramic pads. I want to see if they have those or these organic ones you speak of (Next time I do brakes, next spring sometime) Thanks for the input guys, answered my questions fairly well -Tom
  17. Oh thats good, Getting hot enough then. Righty hoo, -Tom
  18. Oh it does! I suppose it makes sence. I just figured it would incress stopping power (But its not a performance vehicle, like you said) Wonder how much genuine rotors are? As for pads/shoes, is there any low dust types for these cars? -Tom
  19. So you installed a 180* Thermo in? Now ok, it runs cool. But running the engine too cool will cause issues (never getting the engine up to operation temp isn't the best) I run a 192* in my EA82 Seems to work just fine (Even in extream hot in stop and go traffic, gauge onlys gets to half way mark during that) -Tom
  20. Anyone know if theres a company that makes Drilled/Slotted Rotors for the EA82? I'm thinking next spring to change out mine since they have a slight worp in them and are starting to crumble. Is there such a thing as an upgraded rotor thats a direct fit? Also, looking for low brake dust/ low espestos pads and shoes aswell. I know they make them, just dunno what brands do. Casue I'm getting tired of all this excesive dust. Thanks for any pointers! -Tom
  21. Can anyone say "Hachi Roko" That looks cool! Needs some gloss though.
  22. I'm diggin' the trimless look! Almost looks like an AE86 sprinter. Keep it up! -Tom
  23. And into the fender Lol. I dubble checked with Connie on which way it gos (Was nervous 1st time hehe)
