  1. Mine was removed sometime in the cars life from the other owner(s). I don't understand how you could override that button? Cause mine will shift out of park with out a key. How could someone have rigged it to work that way, GD? I don't see anything tampered with under that cover, hmmmm? -Tom
  2. Ooo me likie! I knew I've seen those somewhere else, hmm. don't understand why SOA would offer another style thats not all that diffrent..? Do you have any other '85s? maybe it was an '85 thing, dunno. I think thats the first time I've seen the color before, I know of the other color thats like that, which is a more dull/dim sandy/tanish yellow gold lol. Hope you get'er ideling good, you have a Harvester? pics? post one in the "Show off" thread -Tom
  3. I like the color Bill, are those mirrors diffrent the ones on a Loyale? Look diffrent (Maybe its the angle) Its 4WD? -Tom
  4. Well Saturday I replaced the header/cat pipe section with a genuine replacement. The old one kept cracking in diffrent places and I figure I better fix it before winter. SUBARU really added alot of heatsheilds to their new pipes, this one (Just like the genuine mid-pipe) is coverd in heatsheilds all ther way down and surround the entire pipe/cat. Costs for genine: $315 for new pipe section $15 for 4 new studs. $10 for 4 new nuts. $6 for 2 new gaskets $0 for new dounut (I had one around) $346.86 Total. plus $50.96 for a CarQuest O2 sensor. Cost of installing beautifuly in 2 hours, Priceless.. Lol -Tom

  8. The funny thing is, its Dodge, with Mitsu parts (Sometime rebadge models) and the Rampage, just like the erly Omni used a VW clutch/Trans (What crap) Can find a pressure plate or the push rod for an '81 Omni anywhere. -Tom
  9. OMG duh! Geez, strike that I said that. well I've had a feaver and a head cold for the last few days (Not in my right mind) Scott, I would just stick with the subie diff and see how you like it (You can always change it out at latter date) -Tom
  10. Yea I'd use the XT tail lights, its fit the style better. LMAO! What is that Looks like some Eddie from the Griswalds would wear Hehe. btw, so your gonna make a working gate aswell?
  11. I do believe the '90 Troopers still had a full axle (Not independent) I know I've seen Troopers up till '93 that still used the full axle. Also, whats the diffrence between a front or rear solid axle? Besides the pumkin being at an off set on some. So why couldn't you use a rear axle in front, and just modify the housing for whats needed? Just my thoughts -Tom
  12. Huh, thats a cool idea. I never thought about using a XT series for something like that. Why not, its still a coupe. I would like to see this done right though. -Tom

  22. Ben, yes the coil on plus wires are expensive! The Toyota FJ has them now days, I guess its good since you don't need to worrie on getting any water in the cap/rotor stalling the engine. This FJ is supposed to go thru 3ft of water (It'll do it too) As for what I've done, I used some spry wax on my fenders today, oh and changed my seafoamed oil. Thats about it... lol -Tom
