To get your crank bolt loose, take a long breaker bar with the proper socket, then make sure the breaker bar is touching the ground on the drivers side, and just give the starter a quick jolt, and that will loosen the bolt easy as pie. Ask another person is you feel. Many do it this way, sometimes an impact won't do it. -Tom

Why Subarus hate MN
Geez, that why I'm taking the precautions now, so I don't end up like this in the future. Thats just shocking though, I mean man, the frame rail is gone where it curves up! Wow.. -Tom

Red Sedan Build , solid rear axle
God! Wonder how that feels when going only 25mph! its got to cause alot of vibration, Kinda sucks you'd need to trailer your rig to the wheeling area insted of driving it there. But that is a nice soild shaft, no need to worrie on breaking those yokes! -Tom

Hahaha! Nice cup holders But seriously, the rest is good. I like the power steering cooler (That'll save ur pump when on the trail, alright!) Not to go off the topic, but Tamiya Brat sucks. The front axle pins/shafts keep pulling out of the steering arms, so the wheel come off with the axle Dunno why Tamiya didn't used a solid pin the pushes thru from behind:rolleyes: Guess I need some JB-Weld. Mick, When are you gonna get some action shots? -Tom

Subaru must have been nuts!!!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it somewhat bad for the tranny to only drive it with 1st and 2nd thru the city? I think any Subaru has a nice note -Tom

Subaru must have been nuts!!!
Yea if I had a M/T I would shift it about 4000-5500rpm. Now heres the question, how do you drive in the city? 25mph speed limit (Just leave her in 2nd Lol?) Its kinda hard to shift high in an auto, unless you want to punch it all the time. But even with the 3AT and driving in the city, mine shifts from 1st to 2nd about 3000rpm and then I mellow down cause I'm already doing close to 30mph. Now on the highway or interstate is diffrent, I need to get up to speed, 1st to 2nd is about 4000rpm, from 2nd to 3rd is about 3500rpm by then I should be doing 55mph then I just stay on the throttle till I hit 60mph, so we're cruisin' at 3400rpm (More or less) But no, you won't break it with hitting high rpms. I've put mine up to 5500rpm when I was passing someone doing 40ish. I need a 5spd!

Subaru Steering Wheel..?
Well I found some things out, That wheel is from a Newzeland Legacy/Liberty, Its made by momo for Subaru, he used a "Boss" adapter so it fits the L-series shaft. -Tom
