  1. I wonder if you could just fill that gouge with JB Weld, and carefully grind it down so its nice and flush.
  2. Lol, I had them and didn't even notice! So now its all complete! I did have to buy two bolts for the upper slide pins, but all is good!
  3. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=31348
  4. What is this! A '83 GL with rear Disc brakes...!? Those aren't factory, are they? Right And Left!
  5. Scott who? Dunno if I remember him or not. Good note on cutting triangle notches in the metal to shape it easier. Thought maybe you used an English wheel to form it.
  6. I should rename the Loyale "Sir Busta-strut" As for what I did today, I installed the rear disc brake swap on the EA81. I need the little metal things that hold the pads snuggly. Anyone have the correct ones for EA82 rear Calipers?
  7. Reeeally ************ty roads... Like better off driving on the train tracks, bad.
  8. I knew you'd remember them! They were at Don Miller 2010 iirc.
  9. 25 or so cars. Plus the Asian Rukus dudes with pikachu backpacks.
  10. Well alright. I forgot about '96+ (Which is why I won't buy anything newer then '95) WI is pretty lenient, look at half the cars on the north side on Milwaukee!
  11. I was gonna take a few pictures of your Legacy, but then I got side tracked with all the commotion. Boo! But yeah, your car is right proper, and good tire selection. I was still shocked your axles are almost level.
  12. Nice job on shaping it, how did you do it?
  13. Now thats a car show!
  14. Cybrid isn't cheap fo sho... I truly think this was some "Ahead of its time" engineering that was unneeded. Although, I think you could run a normal power steering pump with the Cybrid system. MilesFox put an XT6 steering rack in his '86 3-Door, it has a tighter turning radius btw.
  15. Pics of todays Subaru Show! I didn't hood up the 4WD light yet, I was planning on it though!
  16. Here, these have the lights I'm talking about
  17. I wonder what a machine shop would charge to resurface and Deck both sides of the block.
  18. Is this nick, too deep? Is the block shot? This is on the mating surface of the cylinder bore. Subruise has new HG set and Re-Seal kit. Nay or yay on the Block?
  19. So many people don't keep their terminals clean, the corrosion robs sooo much juice its crazy. My battery is always clean Got all the brake parts painted. Put the passenger side backing plate on, but need to buy some hardware for the Caliper bracket, some of its missing thanks to USPS!
  20. +1 to that! I would rather blow $170 on a new genuine part, then finding a used one. I would have bought an XT4 EA82T. But it won't make it in the driveway without ripping off the front bumper lol. Wagons it is. Gotta say, I like that color. Gotta find the JDM front markers that stick out from the fender!
  21. Rear Calipers, before/after Changed out the battery terminals with Brass and 24k gold plated. Should be the best connectivity I can get. I did the same thing on the EA82, and all day its been way more peppy, could I have been getting lower voltage with the stock terminals? I tell you, there is a notable difference, even in this humid 80* temps, the power is there, wow!
