  1. There is some 70s Subaru I've seen with rear Duallies (Looked Mad Maxish) Can't find the picture again though...
  2. These two take the cake! Love the EA81 Coupe'
  3. I just noticed that "Chassis Black" paint you have is in fact a High-Solids base as well! Very good
  4. That is all the same stuff I've used! The Rustolium undercoating is pretty good, all rustolium products are good. May I suggest going to your local Farm&Fleet or FleetFarm and buying this? It is a High-Solids base enamel, they have it in Semi or Gloss black. Very good stuff, I've never seen a better black enamel. Rustolium doesn't even come close. Its about $5 a can.
  5. Indeed it would be, but I like to have stuff the same day if possible. Plus I reprice all the hardware I buy, as I know the guy well and I trim the price to my liking. Dude is still making more then enough money off my, I've already blown $60+ on stainless lol! Headlights back in, with stainless bolts! I removed the filler tube, repainted that and the tube mounting area. Stainless M4 bolts and washers.
  6. Thats the type of picture there is!
  7. So when are we gonna see pics of this thing? !!
  8. Triangular will give you more coverage.
  9. Get a '91-'92, the 3F-E is a better motor, no HG issues. '94-'97 should have E-lockers front and rear though!
  10. I've actually seen one made out of an old Oil drum, Had a plexi-glass window, and rubber glove inserts, along with a Shop-vac hook up. Looked and worked pretty well. I like the idea of building one, I need to make my own welding cart as well.
  11. I paid $74 for a rear wheel bearing for my '83 GL. It was a Moog. $5 and $7 for National Seal brand Seals.
  12. Possibly. Although, we'll never know unless I try I've been looking at Harbor freight, but really don't want to drop $200 on one.
  13. Landcruiser, Nothing else comes close.
  14. I have the idea of just using a metal box so I can capture most of the media. Tom mentioned building my own blast box. Seems rather easy, I'm just trying to keep size down, perhaps big enough to stick a 15" wheel in and that'd be good for me. I also had the idea of placing the part in a metal wash tube and then blast, should work fairly well (Also wear eye protection and a mask)
  15. Thanks for the info, I've been talking with TomRhere and he mentioned the same aspects that you did Thank you it will all stick in my head. So the sand is as bad as the "Dusty Bowl" dust? Haha.. Am I gonna die of Black lung?
  16. I have spent close to $60 for all the bolts/washers/nutz so far, far from over.
  17. Remember, if you need anything. Hit me up.
  18. Yes, you. Yes, Decals Haha. Wow, cool. You are the man! Good idea about the blue vinyl, although it's going to be hard to get them made up to fit. Hmmm...? I dunno, guess I'll worry about that after I repaint the car lol! I also need to re-edit that photo and use the correct font style, I was on a Mac and had limited options with the photo editor.
  19. Rob, let me know how much you'd want for a set of those, I need some for the Ski Wagon!
  20. I think I cleared ACE out of Metric Stainless Bolts and Washers lol... I actually still need 3 or 4 more M8 Stainless washers to mount up my Fuel pump. I grabbed a hand full of the wrong size today (They are for M6)
  21. Maybe they are the incorrect Ball Joints? The Joint body being to long and not seating all the way. And there is nothing stopping it on the knuckle side eh? Thats puzzling. Although, the original ball joint bolts can be drilled out with now to much effort given you have a decent bit. I've already seen that approach in person, drill it all the way through and replace with stainless Bolt and Nut. Anyway, I don't know why your BJs are not seating all the way in.
  22. Subruise stuck on some "Subaru Alliance" decals onto his '91 Loyale.
  23. This is the owners reply on the motor
