  1. So once again me and the daughter were car buddies again. This time on my brothers wrangler. IT wasnt to hard removing the old bumper and mounting this monstrosity on. But do you notice its leaning to the passanger side front. It has always leaned like this. If you notice the bumper is hooked up to the frame so the frame is strait. Just curious what ideas you have on what could cause this. And no because its a jeep isnt acceptable:lol:. I was thinking broken body mount, broken or weak spring. I know the spray bar bushings are destroyed on both sides but its only leaning on this side. Couple Pics.
  2. Oh no 7point we get it. You dont care for our company. Drinking is alright just dont get so drunk i half to babysit ya because if you decide to walk into the river your on your own. Time is getting closer so it seems theres 6 of us or so. Ive been helping my brother get his jeep ready.
  3. I think im going to do both of mine on the back but yea there has been some debate on how much greae to use. I was told buy an old time mechanic to pack it in there tight but ive also heard and can understand about putting to much in there. The debate goes on.

  5. Im seriously looking into getting a tractor trailer type of thing, just finding the car hauler is the problem. I have a guy with a truck who whould be willing to do the trip for money but i would need orders from some local people and i need to get either a flatbed for 3 or 4 subarus or a car hauler for 8 or more rust free beauties. I would definately hold off on lifting until you get that fixed. Does this mean funds for (wheels) are being depleated.
  6. Wow man, guidos rust isnt even that bad. I wish you luck. Were trying to get a pool to caravan a bunch of rust free subys from washington down here. You might want to get in on it.
  7. For those who havent done this it really isnt that bad. Just have a few blankets and a sleeping bag and you feel right at home.
  8. I dont think xtra cars will be a problem, but if they are there is a parking lot close buy.
  9. Hey just cuz i didnt push mine doesnt mean i cant go faster, plus im running mud tires now lol. And FI will always win against a webber.
  10. Right now i dont know which one is rustier, mine or yours. Ill race ya, which one breakes in half loses. Na dont worry about it, sell it to another ea81 youll buy cuz i know you will. Ill just mount spikes to the bumper i have.
  11. You ever get a inclination to finish the mt grizley stickers on the front fender. I know youve replaced that fender so thats why there are no stickers. You never did get back to me on how much you wanted to sell the bumper for. I have a way to clean up those 15x7s. Painting them would be up to you though.
  12. Dont know how great this is going to work but a co worker of mine decided to include me in his little plan. He wants to restore classic motorcycles. Im all for this cuz im a bike nut. My first project hes giving me. 1978 Yamaha sr500. Pictures soon to come but well see how this goes along. I havent seen it yet so i dont know how bad off it is. He really likes the sr500s but i told him to look at the classic hondas and triumphs also.
  13. Oh yea duh, rx 3.7 i get it now. Again i think its just specific things need welded in order for them to hold strong. I wonder how much dennis wants for a diff.
  14. Mine would break
  15. I guess that would be ok, chris is the guy who did your brat right. Im pretty sure i can trust his welding abilities. But this is different, at least you told me there are specific things you weld. Also i would need to figure out how to remove a rear axel all the time. But then again i hardly drive the car anymore.
  16. Biggest problem for me is i need someone who knows how to weld the thing together. Plus mine is a 3.9 so i dont know how that will work.
  17. With an auto and drive pavement not likely. Add some rain, maybe some snow latter on and there you go.
  18. Would of been fine for me but you and him would of been screwed. So Tom, you takin the loyale or the legacy. You know my vote. Also how about a role call on whose going now or not. I know some nebraska folks and wiscon folks talked about going but talk is cheep. Only 2 sights are reserved, time to put your money where your mouth is boys. Me and my brother.
  19. Like i said buddy, nice DD. Fix the quarter, rear bumper and hatch. Then drive the hell out of them.
  20. Bring whatever you want man, but we ususally just hang out and talk. Pretty laid back i even keep the ACDC reserved for when we go tooling around in the cars.
  21. I dont know which one is more famous but i know which one is more modified.
  22. So......... decisions decisions. Which one goes camping.
