  1. There should be the slightest amount of slack in the cable. So check there and if there isn't, it should be readjusted.

A few new things with this. I'll update soon. Move to members rides section?
  3. You could get them from an Outback in a junk yard. Or make your own.
  4. Sub frame spacers are found on Outback models. The space the front and rear crossmembers down to correct suspension geometry. But you could probably get by without them for quite a while. But it will put more stress on the cv axles.
  5. 94 is OBD1 like you stated, and that was the last year of the EJ22t, so they are all OBD1.
  6. Check out Suberdaves GL. He installed a front mount on his wagon. Same body style.
  7. Impact gun helps with those a lot! Just have to be very careful when retightening them, you do not want to over tighten them or they could break.
  8. Pics of the mods would be great. Like the Legacy subframes and what not all made to fit the BRAT
  9. So your plan is to use Forester XT struts on your Impreza, and then add 1" strut spacers on top of those. After that, will you be adding the sub frame spacers or not? If you don't use them, the axles will not like it. You're talking about 3 1/2 inches of lift over stock. That's a lot. I have a 2" lifted Forester and that is borderline. But I guess feel free to try it out and see how it goes! And post some pics when you're done!
  10. They do ok with just the struts. If you add more than that, then you should use the subframe spacers.
  11. Haha awesome. Sounds good Chris. I think that 50/50 mod would be a good idea!
  12. Help me do this to mine! Haha Now back to TheLoyale's regularly scheduled program!(Sorry for the thread hijack)
  13. Yeah it was a fair amount of offroading. The tranny worked just fine, but the rear transfer clutches in those are EXTREMELY weak. The 4EAT is a completely different story. Those are TOUGH! And even though the clutches wear out in those as well, it takes high miles and lots of abuse before they do.
  14. Yeah it should just flash when the CEL is on. It should go away once the CEL is cleared, unless another code is tripped.
  15. Yeah they are pretty bad. I burned up 2 of them before I got sick of them and swapped a 5spd D/R in. SO much better.
  16. If you put Forester or Outback struts on a stock Impreza, that alone is about 2.5" of lift. Then if you put 27" tires on it(which is about as big as you can go with stockish wheels because of the rear strut perch) that will give you another 2" of clearance at the least. So there is at least 4.5" more clearance with just that. If you out 1" spacers on top of that, your axles will REALLY not like it. They will be ok for a bit, but not last long, and forget it if you plan on actually going offroad.
  17. No, it is only designed for the 1" subframe spacers, so it would need to be lengthened an inch to accommodate the 2" spacers
  18. The SOHC 2.5 that came in his 2002 RS lean externally. It was the DOHC 2.5's that leaked internally.
  19. We need more pics, specs, and videos
  20. Something REALLY easy to do would be pull the motor and reseal it. These motors are so small and easy to work on, it wouldn't take much time at all.
  21. They only made the RS 2.5 Impreza from 98-03 I believe. What style is the motor? DOHC or SOHC?
  22. I don't agree with this. The ones I have have TONS of low end torque. That actually seems to be their strong point.

I want to put my rally armor skid plate on mine, but I doubt it will clear the aftermarket header without modification.
