  1. This is what i have to work with: and i have a LOT of it. And what i have done so far:
  2. So i want to build a 4 inch lift kit to replace the 2 inch that is on my car now. I started making a list of all the pieces i need to make, but i left that list at one eye's house and it was incomplete anyhow. So if someone who has one, or has made one, or knows what their talking about () could give me a list of pieces with measurements and where they go, that would be awesome! And as a second thought, if there is a thread with this information that i couldn't find, that would help too.
  3. Emphasis on the give part
  4. Not going to make this one either. My wheeler wagon needs an engine. not too good when it's only running on 3 cylinders. Anyone have a running EA-81 they want to give me?
  5. Those are the ones that are drilled wrong
  6. I drilled some 15" 6 lug yota rims and had some used 235-75-R15 mounted on them. about 150 bucks on CL
  7. I just graduated in june and barley passed high school. My parents tried like **** to motivate me to do well in school. They tried money, a new car, threaten to kick me out of the house(which my dad did), everything. I simply didn't care. Some people cannot be motivated by other people. They have to do it for themselves. The only reason I had for graduating is the school counselor enrolled me in a local technical college the automotive technology/repair class, which starts in 2 weeks and i am excited for. SO now i am going to college for something i love. Your son is 13 so there is no telling what he will do later, but just keep his eyes on the goal. And personally, I think 13 is a little young to worry about perfect grades. But i think it is awesome that he wants a brat. (so do I)
  8. A similar thing is happening on my geo prism 3AT. The previous owner had let it run out of ATF, which ate up the insides. As far as i know, the best fix is a replacement. But there might be something i don't know about.
  9. I did something like that, but with a smaller guard on an EA82 The main thing you are going to run into is weight. If you look at a side view of my rig, the back sits higher than the front. And my guard looks like it weighs less than yours. But now that i think about it, i have 2wd struts in the back...but that only lifts the back by 1.5 inches
  10. That is what I meant. I can see the offset in the pictures, but as you said, in the wrong direction
  11. Right idea, wrong direction
  12. I think i might see a problem in the non angled blocks... the offset holes should be in the lateral direction on the block if that makes sense. If I'm wrong, please correct me and i will shut up
  13. Should there be oil in the diaphragm?
  14. replacing this with a piece of pop can? What's the right way to do this?
  15. Why is it i can never see a picture that Scott posts?
  16. do they look like this? or this
  17. Didn't see that. I read to fast. Sorry:-p
  18. Having never jumped a starter before, what is the best way to do it?
  19. It's freshly rebuilt with new jets, so it's gotta be a vacuum leak. I just don't know where. I sprayed the base of the carb with brake cleaner and nothing happened. If someone could point out the major leak areas, it would be appreciated!
  20. The ground wire was bad, i just replaced it with new one, but it didn't fix anything. On to the next step!
  21. It won't idle. It either runs at 2000 rpm or higher, or it doesnt run at all.
  22. when i turn the ignition all i get is a *click* All the dash lights turn on. auto seatbelt works. ???
  23. So, here goes another (the same) problem with my wagon. Still won't run right after doing a weber swap. It ran ok before on the hitachi. Then I ran into some problems with it not wanting to run. Took it to a shop where they informed me that it had a vacuum leak somewhere and that they would rebuild it for 300 bucks. Instead they turned up the idle, so that it wouldn't die on me. So i ran it like that for about 6 months before i finally had all the stuff i needed to do the weber swap. It hasn't run right since. Is there a good write up somewhere (with pictures) so i could go back over my work and check to make sure i did everything right? http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=75986 this link doesnt work http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=49931 and this one doesn't have pictures and if anyone has any ideas, or an insurance claim and napalm, feel free to mock me in my despair
