  3. I just installed my new weber on my '85 wagon and it's not running right. When i start it, it will rev up to 2500 rpm and then die in about 5 seconds. what did i do wrong?
  4. Do the Weber. It's completely worth it.
  5. try replacing the water pump and is the radiator fan working correctly?
  6. the springs are stock '85 adjustable struts that are all the way down and there was no camber at all when it was stock
  7. i never adjusted it so it should be at the stock setting
  8. the blocks are facing the correct way. i was referring to the top of the strut itself
  9. i was out looking at it and it occurred to me that the top of the strut had to face a specific direction. Is that the case?
  10. he cant figure it out either
  11. i managed to lose all my 10mm sockets and wrenches, so bring some tools please :-\
  12. i did a 2" lift out of steel tube and i cut it at a 15 degree angle, which was SUPPOSED to correct the camber. but no dice
  13. it also isn't running even. it will spike or die every now and then. WAIT A MINUTE are you supposed to take off the rubber mount that is on the intake? meh. deal with it tomorow. gnight
  14. if i drop the crossmember i might as well take the lift off. How do you check toe in?
  15. I capped off one vacuum line and now it stays running. but at 2500 rpm no matter what i do to the idle screw
  16. it runs! kind of it wont run under 2000 rpm. if i gas it, it will run, but if it goes under 2000, it stops.
  17. here are my options the one on the left has a larger inner diameter and the one on the right has the smaller one EDIT: i hooked up the small one to the fuel return
  18. As I am securing the 4th set of tires for my lifted wagon in less than 1 year, i am thinking what could be causing the camber issue I have. I have discussed it with the board already, and no one can come up with any ideas. Then it occurred to me that it might have something to do with the fact that i made the lift kit myself, and i know its not perfect. SO i am thinking to myself "what if i had a professionally made lift?" If scott in bellingham sees this, what is the price of your 2" lift for just the front spacers? Would it be possible for me to borrow a set to see if it works out? Or I could easily make the trip up to bellingham and try it out. If it did i would be more than happy to buy the spacers. To every one else who has made their own lift kit that i haven't talked to, what results have you had?
  19. \ farting around in a cabbage field when my car was bone stock. oh the memories :-p after i got 14" rims and some decent tires lift kit and 28's!
  20. gonna try and make it. just need to tell my boss i'm gonna be sick
  21. i tried to use subman90's write up but all the pictures are gone and the link 404'd
  22. ok. there are 2 vacuum hoses that are sticking out of the firewall on the drivers side. the outside diameter of them is both the same, one the interior diameter is different. which one is the fuel return line? and what is the other one for? Thanks John
