Reading Spark Plugs
i know a good plug should be kinda brownish, but these plugs are more of a red. these came out of my EJ20G swaped wagon... they have about 5K on them, what do you think? -=Suberdave=- www.suberdave.com

Power steering problems 91 xt6
well i can tell you that the Chevy and Saturn cars with EPS dont use any fluid. the system is 100% electric. just uses a motor. no fluid at all.... -=Suberdave=- http://www.suberdave.com

xt ej20g killer suspention
yeah it has worked since shortly after i installed the struts. is it worth it... for cool factor... yes. for funtionaly... probably not. with the EDFC motor in the rear my car is as low as it will go. if i took it out i could drop it down a bit more. and i think it would look a bit better. if you think it is going to be a problem. i would not get it. you can still adjust your struts. you will just have to get out of the car to do it... -=Suberdave=- http://www.suberdave.com

i need help with my 1988 gl wagon
As far as Bosch plugs. i wouldn't put them in anything but a VW or a lawn mower. i am auto tech. and i have seen Bosch plugs cause random misfires in many different kinds of cars. i would toss them and get some NGK's, also get a good dist. cap and rotor. and some good (again NGK) plug wires, and a new O2 sensor. change the oil and run some good fuel system cleaner through it. and fix the exhaust leak. and i would bet that it will pass SMOG. if the car runns and drives it "DOSE NOT" need a rebuild... i wouldn't even wast my time doing a compression test on it. if it has low comp. in one cyl. you would feel it, it would have a slight misfire... -=Suberdave=- www.suberdave.com

93 suby loyale hood latch problem
this has happeded to me a few times... its not all that hard to fix. pull the front grill off. by poping the two pins that hold it on and you can get it off without popping the hood. now reach behind the latch and find where the cable attaches. pull it. now your hood is open. now tape the end of your "new" cable to the back end of the old cable in the car. (you will have to cut the old cable so it no longer has the mounting hardware on it) this way all you will have to do is pull the old cable out and it will pull the new cable into place... and just like that its all done... -=Suberdave=- http://www.suberdave.com

new front brakes and battery hold down...
well first off i think i installed the first big brake kit on an EA car ever... its a Wilwood kit that was made for a 02-05 WRX... it uses a 294mm Rotor and a 4 piston caliper... and my new battery hold down... before the battery was mounted sidways, it says right on the battery that it is unspillable. but it leaked out the vent when i was placed on its side. so i changed it. it dosent leak anymore... Oyeah i also mounted my new Cusco oil cetch can that i won at WCSS9. -=Suberdave=- www.suberdave.com

EJ25 from an '03 RS into a '92 Loyale: Fairly simple?
its not going to be easy to get an OBDII engine working in a non OBDII car. if you use the 03 ECU it will have all kinds of codes. personaly i would go with a nonOBDII engine. if your going to spend that kind of money. add a bit and you can get a EJ20G. my $0.02... -=Suberdave=- http://www.suberdave.com

that is the mix i have been running for about 10K now. trans use to grind a bit going into 2nd gear. now it goes in with no proplem... its not a brand new trans, but deffantly worth the $35-40 worth of fluid... -=Suberdave=- http://www.suberdave.com
