  1. well got through my first full tank of gas. and im getting 19MPG and trust me i have not been takeing it lightly on the good ol' go pedal... thats not to bad. i have almost 500 miles on it now. and no problems. -=Suberdave=-
  2. adjust those 2 bolts up. and you can get 1-1.5 inches out of the front -=Suberdave=-
  3. heres my sight www.suberdave.com
  4. yep it will need it. but the VSS from a 87 or later EA82 will work. i had to do this on my 96 EJ20G into 88 Wagon body. works fine. put close to 500 miles on it with no problem. -=Suberdave=- P.S. if you have any Q's send me a PM
  5. if your using a 87 or later EA-82 they have a speed sensor in the speedo unit. i used the speed signal to feed my ECU on my EJ20G swap, and it works awesome. -=Suberdave=-
  6. if i remember correctly it is behind the bumper on the pass side. right next to the horn and left turn sig. dark blue/black 3/8" diamater about 1 1/2" long. -=Suberdave=-
  7. nice, i like that. let us know how it works out in say 1000 or 5000 miles... -=Suberdave=-
  8. bought 2, got them next day, of corse i live in washington. so UPS shipps everything in state next day... -=Suberdave=-
  9. i have the same problem, i put WRX stuff up front with XT6 lower control arms. when i put the XT6 front bar on, it is a very tight fit. but i did get it to go on. but it rubbes the control arms a bit when going over bumps. if you shed some light on this i would like to know, as for now i will just deal with it... -=Suberdave=-
  10. when i did mine i used the XT6 control arm. mainly do to the fact that the ball joint is larger on the XT6. and yes the XT6 has a 25 spline shaft, so it will work with any Turbo trany. or EJ converson. P.S. you can use EJ front stuff with the XT6 lower arms (due to ball joint size) but then you will have to tackle the rear E-brake. -=Suberdave=-
  11. i used a welbro 255lph fuel pump on my EJ20G converson, it works awesome and its a little cheeper than the pirce you posted here is a new one on Ebay, same guy i bought mine from. $120.00 free 2nd day S/H http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/WALBRO-255-LPH-GSL-392-INLINE-FUEL-PUMP-KIT-EXTERNAL_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33555QQitemZ8035176464QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW -=Suberdave=-
  12. yeah didnt change the instrument cluster or starter when i did mine eather. both work fine. -=Suberdave=-
  13. plus: pedal box spedo and clutch cables clutch kit drive line center consol depending on the trans of choice vacuume solonoide for push button -=Suberdave=-
  14. thats what happens when GM gets there fingers in the mix. luckly for us and the rest of the world GM no longer owns any part of Subaru. -=Suberdave=-
  15. i used JDM WRX stuff in the front. (strut, knuckle, hub, ball joint, tie rod end, much larger rotor, dual pot caliper) but had to use the XT6 lower control arm. and XT6 stuff in the rear. now i have to do a rear E-brake converson in the rear. but it stops much better with the larger brakes. -=Suberdave=-
  16. here are some pics of my sleeper. it has a hood scoop and nice wheels. but its still a sleeper: 1988 GL-10 with 96 JDM SIT powertrain. www.suberdave.com/subaru/glwrxt -=Suberdave=-
  17. awesome!!! good work! lets see some pics of the install? -=Suberdave=-
  18. it is possable and it has been done before. now my $0.02. if your going to go throught all that trouble, find a good EJ and put that in there. i think it would be an easyer swap -=Suberdave=-
  19. the last few days, with all the rain, my car has devolped a small leak on the drivers side floor board. it seems to be coming from the drivers vent control. you know the one that you can select from A/C to vent. has any one seen this before? and how did you fix it? -=Suberdave=-
  20. i beleave the frame rails are to close together. so slight modifacation will have to be done there. i have not done a swap on an ea81 but i have done one on an ea82 and it was an easy swap. -=Suberdave=-
  21. many people on the board have that same scoop. i have one just like it. works awesome. most of us bought them on ebay for around $20.00 -=Suberdave=-
  22. here is the wheel i just put on my car. its a Nardi Torino wheel and shift knob from the 96 STI to match the power train. -=Suberdave=-
  23. well i did mine today. will take pics tomorrow. fit nicely. but had to do some modafication to get the turn signals to cancel and to get the horn to work. its a Nardi Torino wheel and shift knob from the 96 STI to match the power train. -=Suberdave=-
