  1. i have one i will sell you for $12.00 thats what i paid at the yard. then i bought a new wagon and it had one already. PM me im not far away.
  2. send me a PM i am home weekends and evenings, i live in covington, you could stop by and we could time your car.
  3. To set toe at home, Use a tape measure. Measure the distance between the rear of the front wheels. (Find a line in the tread pattern and use it in front and rear). Now measure the distance between the front of the front wheels. Should be about 1/16 of an inch wider in the front, this is toe out. Caster: is the forward or rearward tilt of the steering knuckle when viewed from the side of the car. Camber: is the inward or outward tilt of the wheel and tire assembly when viewed from the front of the car. \ / or / \ Toe: is determined by the difference in distance between the front and rear of the left and right-hand wheels
  4. nice videos, some of the best rock crawling ive seen in a subaru. the rocks look like lots of fun. and awesome that i made it in your videos of WCSS7, ill say thats worth some of my 15 mins of fame... again A+
  5. new dose not mean good. i have replaced many parts with "New Parts" right from the auto store or dealer, that have been bad. if you have a coolant temp sensor or something causing it to run ritch it could foul out an o2 snesor in no time. just my $0.02
  6. what will it take to keep that from happening again, do we need more donations so we can get more bandwidth?
  7. i had a blast, my wife even had a good time, this was her first time offroad in a subaru. i am uploading my pics as i type. should be able to view them in a bit at http://www.suberdave.com/treerun2005/treerun2005.htm hope you like them.
  8. let me know when you get the video, i think you got some of me. and i would like to see whatever you have.
  9. GL-10 is just more loaded than most GL's. i have a GL that is turbo'd and 2 GL-10's both turbo's. but the 10's have cruse and sun roof, more plush interior adjustable drivers seat, some came with LSD with the 5spd, some came with rear sway bar, digi dash. thats about all i can think of right now.
  10. i bought a set from that guy also, look good, but have not put it on the car yet. so i have no idea if they are any good...
  11. to my knowlage they were only put out in japan, due to a left hand drive brake booster being in the way for the left turbo. you can pick up twin turbo engines and trans on Ebay all day long for around a grand. but wont fit in a us car.
  12. is your rad. cap holding pressure? just a bad pressure cap was to blame for my last leak. but yours sounds much worse than that, if you use the word spewed...
  13. i just bought wheel barrings for the front of my 88 wagon, for all four barrings and seals, inner and outer and a tub of barring greese. total bill was $102.00. thats everything i need for both front barrings.
  14. that sucks man, looks like time to find a new engine...
  15. my wagon had the controler on the strut tower. (87 T-wagon). when i got the JDM engine for it the hose was looped. so i put that turbo on it ,looped. and i have been running it for about 20K now with no problem. boost is right at 6.5 - 7 psi.
  16. i have an extra or two. could send one out tomorrow. say $10 shipped. send me a PM i can take a pic tonight.
  17. im up for some fun in the snow, i dont need a tree but could help others get theirs.
  18. real easy to do, just make sure your switches are properly rated, the acc and run wires carrie quite a bit of current, and can (known from experance) melt switches. remember if you use a push button start, you will have to cut a key and keep it in your ign. so your steering wheel wont lock, not a good secuirty option.
  19. or this, i have 3 turbo wagons, 2 with egr and one without, all nonspider
  20. not trying to be smart... but why dose it matter? arnt they the same engine?
