Not the clutch! Woo! the hub is stripped! those are cheep! also front pass caliper is non existing.

well, turns out the clutch is totaly worn out and it wont engage all the way.. it just barly moves i guess that was why the engine was out of the car in the first place!

hah yeah, im going to make it into a toolbox/bed/spare wheel carrier for when I go offroading or on long trips.

I could meet you on I-5 in chehalis and a few other people could caravan down there.

well, Redcap came over to visit me today and helped me start my trailer project.. after Aaron got his fill of spare parts we cleaned it out till it was a shell. We start by cutting the car in half. then we rolled the shell onto its side. installed a 2WD rear end. after we put some wheels on it and Redcap took off, I put a 4x4 post and tied it on to make it tow-able.. I'm not done with it, and still needs a bit more work.. mainly in the closing it in part.. anyone elce want to help? will keep posting pics as the project continues

Ya know.. I just might find time to make it over there.. lol use a on/off toggle switch for the fuel pump and coil and use my autometer tach. making it drivable I can do.. making it fully functional, I can not.

what it really needs is someone who can identify wires on this thing.. there arent any hooked up to the engine at all, and some are cut. coil was wired directly to the battery

she thought it was going to blow up or somthing she quickly turned the camera off and went inside XD

Anyone ever cut a GL wagon in half, close it in, and weld a receiver hitch to it? If so pics! I'm going to start doing that tomorrow. Or if anyone has something close to it your welcome to post pics too.

oh and i flush my engine oil by stopping at the diesel station.. putting a few bucks directly into my oil.. drive it dome and drain the oil.. seems to work pretty well for me. then i add seafoam

i got a luberfiner oil filter that sposed to last a few million miles.. i may put that on my GL

yeah this thing has no rust on it at all, I'm probably not going to do some serious offroading in this pup.. I'm thinking restore it to subie perfection and use it as my DD. and I dont think it has black interior.. it just dark dark blue.. I think.. havent really checked yet XD

well, engine is installed.. needs a coil, a radiator, an altenator and a starter and this thing is ready to take some trails!

make sure you have vid recording when you first start it up! none of that "first start after its been runing for an hour" crap

I'm defiantly in.. If my XT sells I'm gonna be towing it there and towing it back with a blown up engine and upside down.. If my XT doesn't sell I'm going to drive it back after I flip it back over XD

I have a 32-36 webber with electric choke, but it doesn't seem to work at all.. how do I get it working? putting a wire from the choke to the battery doesn't do anything.. Think it might be bad?
