  2. i think Dabrizat is talkin bout my 'murdered out" wagon. which isnt murdered out anymore. LOL

  3. anything weird and belgian!
  4. id estimate 4 ft per wheel well, one 25ft length should cover a car. you wont get 2 cars out of it tho.
  5. man thats crazy! you should look us up if you ever get down towards milwaukee or vice versa,
  6. OH well i'll get over it... someday.
  7. here's some info: As for that '86 GL wagon. he sent me a message back as well and stated that it likes to pop out of 3rd gear, but it is a 5 speed DR. It also has 4" SJR lift, SJR EJ adapter, and Numchux wiring conversion. i dont know that i would worry bout the wiring to much if he spent the money to have numbchux do the harness. but the body is beat up.. afterall it was a off road rig
  8. thats better. Sorry to hear about Marcs mom, wish there was more to say, but you and i both know that words can not help the feelings, we're thinkin of you guys in milwaukee!
  9. Hey Shin, i've emailed with the owner of the car a little bit, PM me and i can tell you a little about it. its a d/r manual, comes with an extra trans, i'll have to bring up the email but i think he said it pops outta 3rd gear now and then.
  10. i probably will. the difference in cost isnt much really.
  11. how bout in about 4 months when the snow melts up there? that reminds me, hey, remember back in october when my axleboot tore up and splooked all over my cat? i still havent fixed it. i'll probaly get an axle but try to repair the current ones boot and repack it. just for the experience and to have a spare layin around.
  12. you've got a bull too? thank you thank you.. i'll be here all week!
  13. i'll help, since i've already been volunteered. all it will cost is one pug alloy i need a spare tire Y0!
  14. i shoudlnt have said 'seam welding' i should have referenced the holes next to the pivot bushing. but in all actuality, i was thinking of the wrong part of the car in general. LOL>
  15. you know what, i was thinking of the front control arms that have the hole in them.
  16. Hey Fox, i was thinkin about that seam welding... are there holes up the arm at all that could take on water and need to have the ability to let the water drain out the holes you are welding up?
  17. he should make custom headers that exit out the hood!
  18. haha crazy madison peyople i wish i could find a $250 legacy. its funny that half the people that inquire on these old wisconsin subarus all know each other so we're battleing for the same stuff. me and fox unknowingly battling for the 89 GL (wish i would have kept the skull windows!!!), me and jon both inquired on this legacy. wonder if anyone bought the 4" lifted 86 wagon up in west bend?
  19. since we are talking about combatting the rust... my cavernous wells were repaired with about a gallon and a half of fiberglass resin jelly, chicken wire, fiberglass mat, and some sheet metal and rivets, a coat of POR15, and a coat of non rubberized undercoating, im going to check it all after winter and see what i have to go back and redo. i know the wheel arches need some help, i accidently hit one iwth my bowling bag and busted a small hole. wish i knew more about metal work when i did this but its pretty damn solid at its current state.
  20. yeah, here too! i've only got a '*************** seat' belt in the rear now that i've conquered my cavernous wheel wells. went to unbolt the rear seatbelt mount and the whole damn thing came out.
  21. if you scuff it up... then its not smooth! i wanna get my car up in the air and do some work on the bottom as well. and just get abetter over all look at it. Fox, did you ever get a mount or whatever you needed for the fuel pump so it doesnt hang down?
