  1. they are out there. you can also find these little cover things for the clear bulbs. maybe this will help. possibly find an LED replacement. http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/index.cgi?action=DispPage&Page2Disp=%2Fbulb_cross.htm
  2. off topic kinda... i'll be tied up til atleast 6pm at work saturday, and i have to work sunday as well. im lame this weekend. fox, what are those bearings that you said might be lookin to get replaced on my tranny? on the output shaft? output shaft bearings?
  3. The ************ Volcano asks:

I used to have a major problem when I was younger with what I call a "million wiper". I think you know what I'm talking about. You wipe and you wipe and you just can't seem to get clean. Finally, after using half a roll of toilet paper, three million wet wipes, and washing your bung hole out in the sink, you leave with a sore, itchy rump roast. This went on for years until one day about two years ago when it suddenly stopped cold. What causes million wipers in the first place? And why would they suddenly stop and start happening at random? Note: I stopped eating red meat two years ago because of iron toxicity. (If I spelled it right!) Maybe this had something to do with it but I don't know how.

  4. i was talkin to that guy one day for a while about old soobs and what not. he's a pretty cool dude, just tryin to make a few extra bucks on stuff. lol
  5. not sure who.. he's the taller younger guy. woudlnt budge under $800 for a 98 Impreza w/ 300k on it that needed headgaskets. :/ sayin that they could get more than that in the yard... then i see the car with its windows open from being transported via forklift with the interior all soaked from a rainstorms and such. i think it'll be in there for a while. The body on the car was pretty good, i kinda feel bad that i wasnt able to take it off of them before it went to the yard. anyways.... thats my yard of choice too, i usually pay what he asks if its not too crazy. we been goin there for ever too, probably since i was 16 so, bout 15-16 yrs as well. i dunno why, i just like the place. i'd sit there and dissasemble all their cars if i could LOL!
  6. damn you guys! its my goal in life to pocket everything from that car and rebuild it in my garage. Tom.. if you go out there. can you grab the button covers from the left side dash, the 3 way cover and the 2 covers next to it with the defrst button? it should fit in your tool box. (i dont really condone stealing, but that guy asks WAY to much for ************. Tom you know what im talkin bout.)
  7. yeah, i did, i want to have relations with that front bumper:eek: should stop by some time dude! i'd love to steal it, i mean see it in person. haha. (no, im not going to steal your bumper )
  8. only 5 buh? if you can get 5 buh for a bluh, then you should get atleast 20 buh and some pburr for the work.
  9. when i was 13 yrs old, i hit a hole in one while golfing on friday the 13th. wasnt the 13th hole, but the hole was playin about 130 yards. true story.. go to Whitnal Golf course and look at the plaque
  10. I wish i could find a $500 car. well.. moreso had the $500 for it. LOL. good deal... 13 seems to be my lucky number. i'll have to make a retro lookin Trashwagon13 logo and maybe have mick or my buddy who has a vinyl cutter (he has a sign shop) i just remembered. I was wondering how the debate over the blue legacy was gonna turn out. cant wait to see it. wheres the pic tom?!?
  11. and then the time difference is made up while recieving a speeding ticket.
  12. yeah Tom, its only like 3hrs and 45mins each way... and goes really quick if you leave at 5am with a few redbulls! LOL:grin:
  13. there aint nothin illegal about paint job... and besides, in milwaukee/waukesha you are less likely to get ************ed with in that than if you were in a jacked up cavalier with 743" rims (those are HUUUGGGEE rims!) or a busted rump roast ex cop car crown vic or honda as long as you arent being a douche you're fine. and even sometimes they see the car... overlook your douchebaggery.. and move along because there are PLENTY of other douchebags around. [threadjack] in the works if fox does the 94 leg, xt6. then this would probably up for label Trashwagon13. i like 13. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b133/FscottF/Lift/TW4.jpg [/threadjack] FWIW i wouldnt expect to get ************ed with much.
  14. i installed one of bills lifts about 2 weeks ago. little different but same principle. i installed the spacer onto the strut, then put the strut into its mountin place but didnt thread the nuts on more than 4-5 threads or so to allow for movement. took a little effort to get the knuckle down enough to get the strut in, but it worked out, however, i think pulling the axle out would have made it MUCH easier. i also found it easier to pop the ball joint out of the control arm, and loosen the 2 bolts on that trailin arm thing until the bolt was flush with the threaded hole/nut. gave a little extra space. also i have heard that loosening the cross member will help too but found it unnecessary. once it was all together, i just had to get the ball joint back in the control arm. i pushed down on the control arm with a 4' pipe i was able to place in a good prying spot and then sat on it while lining up the ball joint. im bout 195lbs for reference. naturally i cant really comment about the 3 spacer method as far as lining them up properly but as far as the process goes, if i can do it, you can do it.
  15. waxed the car today. adjusted the rear camber yesterday. the wheels are actually just about straight up and down now. i think one is actually negative camber! tried to figure out what is makin the creakin noise in the front when i turn now since i put that lift on. any ideas welcome, i thought the sway bar might have been loose or too tight but that didnt seem to do it i do have a bad boot on the outer tie rod end which i have to replace but there really isnt any play in the sucker that would lead me to think that was the problem. :/ put a cut off hollowed harley sportster muffler on the car for today. gives it a slightly lower tone and makes the pipe go about 12" farther to the rear of the car (previously only went to about halfway back from the axle. ending before the muffler hangers.)
  16. i'd be lying if the first thing i thought of was a car in regards to his statement. LOL! lately i have done: added dome light. 2" lift (and in the process replaced ball joints, thats a whole other story...) (time of pic.. just the rear was done, looked funny as hell. LOL) gotta get a post install pic of it all done yet. Made this shiftboot/gate: (cant recall if i posted it yet or not.) its just out of some acrylic i had in the basement. would like to do it out of aluminum some day. next up: gotta figure out some larger wheels/tires! and a way to pay for them. also i have lined up from ReRack in Portland a cheap used set of rain gutter towers to make a roof rack with. $40 plus shippin, cheaper than any used ************ i can find in milwaukee fo sho.
  17. haha, i've looked at that picture probably 10 times, and just NOW did i look at it and say.. "thats gotta be a chop. then i saw the ObVOIUS line where the background fence was pasted. :duh: LOL
  18. i do too, if i had skillz and a welder and metal and more skillz, i'd totally try something like that.
  19. Got in touch with Bill.. thanks baccaruda. This thread can be deleted if any mod feels like doing so.
