  1. How much fuel pressure can the weber handle? Anyone try getting a little more fuel to their weber?
  2. We could have the show at the moonrocks out here in Reno! Lots of rocks for offroaders and dirt trails for the rallycross guys.
  3. The way you and your pops seem to drive, you'd be hard pressed to make it to a show in Seattle..... Just playin dude, We'd get you there if we had to tow you with our subes.
  4. So the lifted Brat broke down again todaY. ANOTHER fuel issue. So I am DONE with the stock setup. I tried a search, but couldn't find a lot of info on upgrading the ea81 fuel pump and fuel related mods. What I want to do is relocate the fuel pump into the engine compartment for easier access, as well as upgrading it to handle being further away from the tank. Is anyone running a bigger better flowing pump? I am also thinking of doing away with the hardlines that run before the pump and through the cab, if I run a 3/8" rubber line from the tank to the pump, would it work? I'm sure I'd have to adjust the carb a bit, but would that be too much gas/pressure etc..? Also, the 2wd hatch gas tank DOES work in lifted rigs right? I have a 4/3" lift kit. I'm tired of having fuel related issues in the Brat an want them fixed. Thanks for the help and sorry for the long post.
  5. Thats good to hear guys. I'm glad you made it back. Stayed away from Beatty did ya? We'll definitely hook up next year.
  6. Thanks for the help guys, it's much appreciated.
  7. While coming back from wcss8, the Brat started acting up. It acts like it's not getting fuel, the filters are the first thing I'm checking in the morning. I tried spraying carb cleaner around but couldn't find anything major as far as a vacuum leak. I cleaned the air filter as it was nasty after the mudpit. When going up a hill, in third, it starts to sputter and miss. It also did it in fourth gear around a corner and uphill tonight. It acts like it WANTS to drive but like there's something not letting it get past a certain point. Just wondering if anyone else had any ideas.
  8. I want to thank Zap, Ken, Corky, Richie, and everyone else. You guys made it WORTH driving 10+ hours to the show.
  9. yeah Brian, I'll get you my tape, I didn't get much, like 45 minutes, but it'll work. I need to take my camcorder back as well, I guess them and dust don't mix.
  10. I'm gonna search through and find pics of my lifted Brat soon, if anyone has any great shots of the Brat could you either contact me or post them up? I'd also like to know who got video of me in the pit, as I'd like to get that and edit it as well. Thanks a bunch.
  11. Hey, I mounted my cb between the T-tops, you can have a peek at the show to see how its done.
  12. We might be in the Portland/Hood River by Thursday night. We should have our cb's installed, I'll get back to you with the channel we'll be on.
  13. Its the shortest for us. And easy BECAUSE its flat, our little ea81's loaded with gear isn't fun to drive over passes and hills. Plus I've been up I-5 three or four times which is a few too many.
  14. OK Just talked to Shawn, he's doing all right. Still having heating issues, but ha cooled down a tad. I'm trying to find him a parts place close by. Thanks for the heads up.
  15. Yeah, there's at least one. NV Zeno knows where it is, he can give you directions.
  16. For the most part.... There was one spot in the vid (doesn't look AT ALL hard) that the stocker could not do, I tried it, got it, then Brian tried to follow and his weber pooped out. So MOSTLY they followed us, but me and Brian were being held back by those guys for most of the day...
  17. When are you heading up? Me and the Subarujunkie are heading up there and will be close to Klamath Falls on Tuesday, and Bend on Wednesday. Let us know if anywhere along that line works for you and we can meet.
  18. Stacks coming out of the hood!! Just playin, I don't have any serious ideas yet, I'll let you know when I do.
  19. Sorry Mike, all mine would be 4wd single or D/R. Let me knoe if I can help.
  20. Crystal Peak and Dog Valley off of 395 or I-80.
