  1. Sounds like fun! This should be exciting.
  2. Thats awesome! Makes me want to go out right now and mess around.
  3. I am going to be in the group with Subieman, and if everything goes well, we'll be there pretty early.
  4. Do Gen 1 bumpers fit on Gen 2 subaru's? Specifically my bumper from my 81 Brat onto my 82 Brat? Just wondering. Thanks
  5. Now something like that looks way cool. I would LOVE to have one of those.
  6. Yikes. I read part of it and scrolled down to see how long it was, and I was amazed. Too bad for the brat I say.
  7. I was looking at the post in the marketplace about the dual range in an 81 Brat. Is the gear ratio different than in other Brats? I got the impression that the dual range from that year brat (81) seemed to be really good. Any help would be appreciated.
  8. Yeah, I think we'll get up there early enough to find a campsite. But, I don't know, I am going to try to do what everyone else does.
  9. I'm with subieman, one shot straight there.
  10. Darn well. We had lots of fun! Jeremy - Where's those pics? I don't know how to load them. Anyway, it was good times.
  11. Here's a link to my system installed in an 81 Brat: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=3967 When I went to the audio place, they told me they'ed never even a Brat, so they had fun with it I think. Or maybe not!
  12. I have a question. I just received my 4/3 lift kit from ozified, and I was wondering if I have to buy new shocks and struts. I probably should, but is it essential when installing the lift? Thanks for the help.
  13. What happened to eberyone? Subarukid? Anybody? Dang. Well, I'll be there, subieman at about 10:30 tomorrow morning. I think I might bring the paintball guns too. Just in case something happens and we get stuck.
  14. So when and where are we meeting? Are we going to be all day? Let's have an awesome time!
  15. I would like to be as far away from hot august nights as possible. I see enough of them driving around town. That's the cool part is actually seeing them DRIVE. I know that some of them are way sweet, but come on! Anyway, I don't care where we go, lets just have some fun!
  16. I hear ya, I was going to have them come pick up an 83 station wagon that is sitting in my yard and they wanted to TAKE it for nothing! and everything after that is profit. The best deal I have gotten was a sweet one NVZENO - you know! I got a front bumper guard for exactly $3.75! Thanks Dave!
  17. Ya think DMV will catch it? I remember my teacher telling me that there was a way to print something on your license plate so that when you cock your head to the right or left it spelled something. I didn't ever catch what it was though. It's a thought though.
  18. Lookin pretty sweet! Good job. The rims do justice to such a car.
  19. I'm definitely down. We need to do SOMETHING before wcss. Either Friday works for me.

Thanks a lot! It's settled then.
  21. I believe that any Gen 2 Subaru (82 - 86?) will work, you might want to look around some of the wrecking yards and find some old wagons. Most of those early wagons and Brats were roughly the same. I hope this helps

I am going to replace the engine in my Brat tat's getting lifted, and I was wondering if the best time to install the lift was before during or after I get the engine in. I am going with a straight ea81 swap, nothing special. Thanks for the help
  23. Never mind. I got it out of my wagon and if it's as easy to put back in, then I'm good. Thanks
  24. I just got an 82 Subaru Brat, and the previous owner has taken the third eye out and has replaced it with a standard front grill. My question is, if I have a third eye on another wagon, how easy would it be to install on the brat? Is it bolt on, or is there extensive work involved? I am no mechanic by any means, but it doesn't SEEM too hard to switch out. The brat and the wagon are the same year, so I'm sure they would switch. The Brat has the wiring and the knob inside to turn it on, so it had to have it at some time. Thanks for the help.
