  2. yeah, half a coil...and I ahve a portaband...takes about 5 mins to zip thru the thick spring steel. 2 mins on street springs.
  3. yeah, the stock engine was a 1.8...but the 2.0 was found from a later year. either way, the same injectors on both engines.
  4. no spring cutting...with a torch that is. Using a 'saw' action is ok...but still not recommended.
  5. Those are the old MRT camber/caster adjustable plates fro any legacy/impreza. The stuff for the recirc is some kind of 2 part epoxy from NAPA. Works well it seems.... I just had a bunch of tires and junk in the back...so its like 1 inch lower.
  6. I would recommend taking the caliper off and seeing if the mechanism in/on the caliper is working properly, and the cable is actually working properly on the brat.
  7. I had it in an RX with dealer AC (tall pump)....and it was similar clearance. The wagon has the short pump.
  8. The 2 row one I have in the wagon is like that...but it was not THAT close.
  9. I bet so. I was going to make a small center stabilizer at some point.
  10. Using the 5x100 adapter, and SSR comp-x 15x7 wheels in white or gold...or that grey color from tire rack...eh, I'll go white.....225/45/15 Khumo V700's.... PLUS that would increase the over track front and rear by 4 inches! Wider is bettAr, especially for t3h subie!
  11. 4HOL 140MM TO 5HOL 100MMX2" $79.00 SKU#: 4140-5100-4-5IB WOW...more ideas...
  12. Thanks! It was nice meeting you as well!
  13. *subcribe* Marck: How well does it work/look/fit? Hows the contruction on it?
  14. Ebay. WRX imitation scoop. Cheezy and cheap, but it works. Flops like a humming bird wing at 120+ MPH tho. :-\ Serves its purpose well otherwise.
  15. No wonder its so fast...
  16. 4HOL 140MM TO 4HOL 100MMX1.25" $44.00 SKU#: 4140-4100-IB125 That???? Many ideas afloating now...
  17. Yeah yeah...blue hood...I didnt have the $ to go for white or flat black...so i just cleaned it up and put it on...along with the WRX TMIC i might add... its SO much faster at high boost now (14 PSI). But, alas...if I want 29 MPGs, like I was getting...I need to stay on low boost and stay out of it.
  18. Check the oil line. Might be loose at the head. The oil return would not spray like that.
  19. there is no easy answer to that....best thing to do would be take the dizzy out and tap the threads on the shaft...
  20. Unless you pay close attention to their needs and get them what they need IMEDIATELY.
  21. Well, i dont care about cup holders...I do care about my knee/ankle pain during long trips.
  22. I snagged a set of SR20 (the US 2.0 liter 4 cyl) injectors from an 85 RWD 180 SX or whatever it was...they were 'blue' ones...as opposed to the red of the subies. They worked...but the car ran like crap. Made no difference in performance at all....the difference it did make was it ran like crap. Got the same MPGs tho.
  23. You'll have to put the engine back to TDC #1 and line the dizzy back up. THere's only 20+ ways the dizzy can go back in....one of them is correct. You can get to the screw with the dizzy in...but its difficult. I admit that I take the dizzy out to do the screw...of course at that time I am usually doing timing belts and the such...
