  3. This all reminds me...I need to find a source for studs/nuts for the engine, and figure out what gasket I am going to use....

  5. I would keep both. lol Fix up the blue one, use the parts from the Gery one to fix BLue one. After all, sounds liek blue is a GL-10....bettAr car overall. Use new stuff from gery to fix blue. Put the 'ok' stuff on the grey...either keep it for parts, daily driver, or fix it up to be reliable and sell it.
  6. I might be comming to the ATL area...and we might want to swap ECU's and see what the deal is with my RX. Cool?
  7. Mine always broke at the clutch fork. Since I found out how they are supposed to be installed...I've never had issues. I should knock on some wood now!
  8. Check for obvious areas of coolant leak....intake manifold gaskets, and such...could just be some PCV system issue letting oil in the intake tract.
  9. Thats certinly cool. When I get the wagon back up as a daily driver, Im going to put the RX under the knife for some stuff like that...and on the rear too!
  10. I was thinking along the same lines as well....but its not as big of an issue on the FT4WD cars. Also, being able to have rear handbrake will enable those of us with safety inspections that require an "E-brake", to upgrade our front brakes....Ive got WRX front caliper/brackets laying here...and i eventually plan to put those on at some point.
  11. Ive left them off and gone thru ever condition possible. Never had issues. I set the dots to the line of the cam cover/cam box...the line you see that you can see the gasket...thats where the dot mark would be on the covers. Stright up.

  15. i didnt spend all that $ on a TWE DP just to swap turbos. im staying with stock and playing with it for a while. cliff notes: WJM has no cash.
  16. at this point I dont know what the problem is other than in the ECU. Ive changed and mod/tweaked everything.
  17. Ive played with both...and it still does it.
  18. It did this before mods too. When it was stock it would do it.
  19. is it doing the cut out/hesitation every second/half a second like you just stated? that sounds like a rusty gas tank. My GL-10 had that issue. the fix was a new/nearly new used gask tank.
