  1. not a thrasher yet. hangs with them. when I had the stiff springs in...an STi could barely get away from me on the Dragon. Strights was where he got me...duh...me no IC and all stock but intake and cat back. Now: WRX IC, even more tweaked intake, and redone 2.5" cat back and gutted cats. The pipe from the 1st to second cat is redone as well...2" instead of all the factory BS that was about 1.5". Still needs some serious flow work on the exhaust header and the turbo...intake manifold and throttle body. more eficient turbo...about 14 PSI and its ready to match WRX's to 100 MPH.
  2. rally Russ did overkill there....but it'll last thats for sure. i did use 300 psi rated fuel line, 1/2 inch. I used it for about 2 months...didnt have any problems.

  7. Well....ours drives a Buick Lsabre (orsoemthing) Ultra...its supercharged. BUT...hes got a Demo subaru...a forester. But pleiades drives his Legacy GT, and ofcouse I drive the GL-10

It may SEEM that they do on the surface....its a cutious respect..."hey, lets give him something...dont want to be an rump roast to him..." kinda respect. After that...FORGET it. You dont get an inch more. Well, im THIS >< close to just letting it all out on the next person who doubts me or whatever, just have all the steam built up in me about this, righ out on'em. And im not about to give up the battle and say..."Eh, ive had enough...I'll get a WRX/STi...then I'll be taken serously and respected more...." NO WAY suckas. All the stops are gonna be pulled out. Ive had it. Your WRX's and STi's are MINE. Soon to be OWNED by the GL-10 of WJM. No more will I be dis-respected or doubted. I CAN drive, and despite what they think...I CAN drive BETTER than them. (i do admit, there are quite a few that can drive much better than I. Mostly....the others dont have it at all. Sure they can point the car...gas and brake and shift like 'normal'....but the skill to really DRIVE...is not with them) All the stops and bugs are commin out. Prepare to suck vacuum. [/RANT] Edit: this thread does not apply tho those who have Impreza/Legacy and have an EA82 and believe in it.

  10. Yes. the PARTS look up. cant get ahold of that. BIG BIG no no. There are FSMs online....I cant tell you about it yet....yes, ALL of them are on there....from 1992 an up.

  12. from NAPA, the new one taht had all the OE stuff in it....was $160. But that was like 10% over cost....since i worked there at the tiem.
  13. shadow....my image looks pretty good....i know that Imissed the major stages of planning due to the equipment i had at the time...slow rump roast comp and no scanner/cam.... I could do myentire 86 FSM+CC supplement by images....what do you think?

  16. Ok...does anyone have any experience with the Motul engine/trans lubricants and brake fluid...??? Im thinking of switching over....maybe.

  19. Watch your mouth, err, fingers soney. You'er about to offend someone who knows a whole helluva lot more about N.O.S than you do. While I agree that i will never use it on any of my engines, it IS a proven method of horsepower increasement. When used inthe proper manner, the engine will last for as long as you take care of it. While running a 250 shot will certinly end the engines life shortly....a 50 shouldnt be worse than my foot to floor antics every day as comapred to running at the strip once a week with a 50 shot.
  20. Two notes.....the owners manual says nothing about driving in 4wd all the time....just the POSSIBILITY of decreased fuel mileage and that tid bit about the sharp turns. AND...safe engine operating speeds is anywhere from 1500 to "The Red Zone" So that means the EA82T wont mind being at 5600 RPMs at WOT going 120 MPH all day long.....
  21. Id say it does around 16.375 1/4....but i dont have a time slip. thats estimating with another RX's results...its heavier and has the same HP therea-abouts. I woudl estimate in the 15's somewhere with my GL-10 with Delta cams.
  22. Well....this was the only thing I read about it on pavement....im sure i read somewhere that it said dont use 4wd on dry pavement.... Oh well.
  23. the NEW NAPA Clutch kit I got had FHI stamped all over it....looked OE.... Worked wonders on the RX....and it was sporting a serious intake/exhaust and delta cams. VERY strong and grabby.
  24. I happen'ed across a number for the 85-94 "Leone/Loyale" 4WD clutch kit...includes pres plate, disc and throwout bearing....for something like...150-170 or something. Cant remember exactly. The presureplate alone is 151 for the XT6....
