  1. FIA Homoglation has run out for the Leone 1.8 4WD cars...so I cant race this tihng in the places I want. I can still go to the SCCA and NASA. I plan on that. That power range sounds good to me. How much did your cams cost?
  2. Cylinder Number Three, exhaust valve seat. Valve stuck open. The GL-10 is in the middle of the FT4WD conversion, shift linkages and center driveshaft support still being worked out...so, I have no transportation....although the RX is still driveable...
  3. i dont have the engine apart yet, LOL. I am going to compression test each cyl soon, like, in 20 mins.
  4. no cats to fry! But those P/S lines look pretty cooked...
  5. I tihnk that maybe I have lost compression on cyl number one or three....the subspeed dude was cruising. I was at WOT. lol So myabe I had the same problem, but it appeared more suddenly, i would not doubt there being trash in the FI system, the car was poorly maintained. I just installed a new fuel filter. Maybe a burned valve?
  6. plugs are new now. I put NGKs in, and new wires. Good strong arc'age.
  7. Thanks Corky, I'll check that. calebz: I pulled each plug wire one by one, each cylinder makes a difference. I also pilled Fuel injector plugs too...makes same diff as plug wires. So, vac line search. Anyone else?
  8. Ok, after a nice 110 MPH run, WOT, for aobut 3 miles, I come to a stop, ruff idle, and its got aobut 1/3 power. Its getting fuel and fire. I have no way to see if its getting fire at the right time tho...and no way to check compression. Its oil and coolant leves and pressures are normal, temps too. So, what it the problem? Any guesses? Seems like 1 and 3 are not contributing very much, btw...
  9. Thanks, I'll check everything out.
  10. Sounds liek alot, yes...but thats what I want for now. lol interior, for sale? possibly...what do you need?
  11. LOL I hate it when that happends!
  12. the Legacy turbo is a VF10. The RHB5 i think is a VF7. The US WRX is a mitsu TD04, and STi's and others get VF34, and 22's. The exhaust housing on the VF10 is different than our RHB5's. The exh. housing on that turbo is origonal from the RHB5, it sjust turned the wrong way. I looks like its got a different compressor housing, and it too is turned the wrong way.
  13. I am going for 2.5 negatice camber. I am looking into this NASA roadcourse stuff for the RX right now. Rally'in seems too expensive right now.
  14. RallyKeith: that place looks promising!
  15. does anyone have any clue as to what kind of place I can get some cams done for the EA82? Im looking to get some massive lift and duration with no/little overlap for the RX. Intake, exhaust, spyder intake and an inercooler for starts.
  16. No, its NOT a TD04, its an RHB5 with a different compressor housing on it. The exhaust housing is IDENTICLE to ANY RHB5 on ANY EA82T, that I am sure of. But still both housings are bolted on all wrong.
  17. All_talk: I have thought of this. Others have done it, But I am not willing to slot the actualy towers, and i ahve worked on adjsutable and non-adjustable camber plates with no success.
  18. I think that the axle has plenty of room in the Inner CV joint to be pulled some. Since I will be lowering the RX, AND doing the camber change with the bottom...we'll see what it can take. Any more opinions/ideas...? I welcome all!
  19. Its an RHB5 that came on our EA82Ts. AND, you can tell by the exhaust housing and by the overall structure of the turbo that it will bolt right up to and EA82T, IF the housings were turned right.
  20. The problem you experience with the digidash is normal. I have installed an aftermarket guage to read engine temp. Problem solved. The hissing? Vac leak. I dont know the exact routing if the vac line for the a/c heat stuff...Id just trace it....so get to tracing! Seriously, I think that maybe the actuator for the def/bilev/a/c/ac max and all is maybe leaking. I dont know where thats at, seeing as I have not been inside that stuff yet. edit: Hey, im over 2000 posts!!!!!
  21. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33742&item=2438625060 edit: hey, looks like the housings are turned the wrong way...
  22. Ok, IM not going to fool around with camber plates anymore, its made me sick. That and I dont ahve the resources to just fab them up. The whole bearing deal is got me and there are no camber plates around for me to compare with, so im halting that project for now. Ok, lets talk about the lower control arm....lets move it out 5MM. How? Weld some steel over the stock mounting/bolting place, and drill a new hole 5MM out. Opinions please.
  23. Well, something is wrong internally on the FT4WD trans....its stuck in 5th and the shifter is like its in neutral....so...i dunno whats wrong. I did go get another XT6 FT4WD trans for $50. It will go in there if I dont figure out what the problem is.
  24. my 2 cents....the GL-10 uses a quart every 2k miles. I dunno aobut the RX yet, Ive been changin the oil too often to tell. No collant useage between the two.
