MS1 has it....MS2 doesnt...if it does, then give it to me NOW. :-p
-
yes, we had the wideband in the DP about 6 inches from the turbo...a new one at that. we did turn the timing back...and made less power than when we started. Stock ECU makes more power and doesnt knock.

No MS here yet....mine is diabled and I am back on the stock ECU. the Emanage is an alternative right now....sub-scruibibe! -
cuz a SAFC wont work. Dont try it unless you can remap the voltages to the ECU.
-
something like that.
-
the SAFC wont work. Pull it out. MS was controlling timing. It did a great job...but there is no knock feedback/control system for the MS-2 yet, so the MS project has been halted as of today until the knock control comes out.
-
that means SAFC is out, period. back to the drawing board.
-
Yeah, today I am almost convinced that all I need are the inejctors and the SAFC and I'm done.
-
I plugged the stock ECU back up. I got tired of hearing knock. More boost+stock ECU=more power, and no more knock. Charts to be posted tonight.

No kidding. 18 psi here i come. 240hp/280tq is what I expect to see on racegas at the wheels. I am going to try pump first...but, I think I'll hit a wall with pump at around 180/230.

for t3h w!n!!!1~one

Ofcourse not.

Evidently, stock is best. *dyno charts*

I found the problem of why the RX was feeling like it had a Justy engine in it.... The catalytic converter decided it had enough with the leaded race gas those months ago...and had fallen apart into chunks in the cannister....that and the back side of the cat was all kinds of melted together. Cat-delete pipe was made and installed....and a header leak fixed. It's way more fun to drive now...especially when tuned to 9 psi.... -
13 psi the injectors are MAXED out at 4500 rpm...goes danger lean at 5500. Charts to come tomorrow. 11 psi was still ok, but at redline it was still around 13:1 AFR...so its backed off to 9 until I get the new fuel system done. That and I put a really safe street map in...makes 120hp/145tq at the wheels wth 9 psi. At 13psi...~140/160. At 11psi...~130/150. The map that we fine tuned with 9psi, we still got ~130/155 at the wheels, but we were getting light detonation when the intake temps came up, so I backed it off to a very safe and conservative level....cant be blowing stuff up. Next, fuel rail system, 545cc injectors, and 16 psi.

I was waiting for someone to post that.

It is a WJM Rallye Sport 'Stage 2' clutch set. With near stock levels of power(up to ~75 hp over stock), I would only recommend the stage 2 disc.

So the SCCA's SEB did away with boost regulation... http://www.scca.com/_FileLibrary/File/05-12-fastrack.pdf (Page 5 and 6...the section that applies is under "Street Prepared Category" and section F... So, time to turn up the boost. Stage 1...max SAFE tune with stock injectors. I am going to estimate ~11 to 12 PSI. Tonight we are going to do some wideband road tuning, then its back to the dyno for a rebivision to the map attributes and ranges...then its time to make some more power....oh, and a cat delete pipe before all that. Next step: ARP studs might be comming in....

Yes. It is a direct drop in. I noticed MUCH better performance from the XT6 setup on an EA82T... BUT... BOTH sets, NEW EA82T and NEW XT6, BOTH SUBARU OE setups....slipped at the same power output, which was 12 PSI on my RX at the time (TWE Header, DP+2.5" catless, STi TMIC, Intake)....HOWEVER, both setups hold to 15 PSI w/out the IC and Header but with a TBE and intake.

by 2 lbs. 1986 RX sedan, 2546. 1987 RX Coupe, 2548. (before ballast was added to bring it to 2600 class min) JWX's new RX Coupe, 2565 w/spare and some misc stuff. JWX's sedan was full tank of gas, no spare and otherwise in autox trim. My Coupe was full tank of gas, in autox trim. Both cars had ZERO lighening mods. So, looks like i need a sedan...for the less two pounds!

importperformance.com has the F/R listings.

the engine was out, so it took 5 mins per side. in car I'd expect to pay about 4~6 hours worth of labor. Tex: I can get a clutch that will hold 320+ tq at the crank....$200+shipping for a NEW plate, disc, and bearing set. 25% stiffer plate, and a disc that by its self will hold alot more power than stock. Delta makes them. I have installed a set.
