  1. yeah, I was wondering...as I called and its like...TOTALLY not the right number.
  2. anyone had any luck using the phone numbers on the site to get in touch with them?
  3. harness is extra. You will need a PC w/stimilator to upload the basemap into the ECU.....or a laptop to do so. I do not work there, but I live 3.68 miles from the guy who built mine....we made the custom plug and play harness, then we installed it, and I tuned it on the Dyno at Top Speed, where I work. For the plug and play harness, you will need to supply a donor ECU.
  4. http://www.diyautotune.com Assembled. We can make you a plug and play for your RX....I can give you a base map.
  5. agreed...but, ive never seen any v8 USDM design like that...i would believe a Porsche/Ferrari/Lambo/*insert exotic here* crank like that...but again, ive never seen one. Ive only seen that type of crank in a Japan Motorcycle engine. subie cranks do look like normal I4's...but, shorter of course. It's all in the header design. PERIOD.
  6. *BUZZZZZZZZZZER* Wrong. Looks just like a Yamaha motorcycle crank. The sproket in the middle is to drive the chain for the cams up top.
  7. So....I've got this 14lb ACT flywheel....wanna put it in the RX. I know I'll need the EJ PP...but I can use the EA82 disc as its EXACTLY the same as anything 4wd from 1981 or so to 2006+.... I also know I'll need to mark the flywheel for the timing marks/t-belt marks and make some holes wider so it'll physically bolt on the EA82 crank. So...what starter do I use?
  8. i think the pinons are different on some. I need some parts books and stuff to look at. either way, the phase 1&1.5 boxes are VERY simlar overall in design with the RX and other S/R FT4WD boxes.
  9. Cook, thanks. I am 100% sure the 4.111 and 4.444 ring/pinion are direct drop ins...but I dont care about that. I want the center diff conversion information.
  10. well...i'd just like to know who did it so I can ask some Q's about it.
  11. if you stick a divider plate onto the header flange effectively separating the ports...then you can do it.
  12. who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
  13. if thats the guy who has the legacy viscous center in the D/R with the 4.111 gears...yes. hes out west somewhere as he sent me some nice pics of his wagon out in the country.....i cant find that email or the PM.
  14. I remember that's a guy on here that has a viscous center diff from a legacy in his loyale, WITH dual range, and with the 4.111 gears...or either it was an 87~89 wagon. It's dark blue with 15" pugs on it. I used search...no success.
  15. that or look at the flywheel....atleast, for #1. you need to send the car to me and all will be fixed. Seriously, WOT for compression checks and plugs out...testing RPM is stated to be ~350 RPM. My RX ran perfectly fine with one side at 60 psi and the other at ~140. Ran butter smooth. That side had some kinda of head crack/head gasket...never found out what it was, i just replaced the HG ad entire head as I was autoxing that same morning. ProSolo+no sleep in last 48 hours=not so good end results. I know its alot of work...but I would put stock cams back in it and see what that does. I know you dont want to hear this...but...I used copper's only once. They leaked like crazy. Car ran fine...but leaked bad...leaked compression, coolant, oil...you name it. I wont use CUHGs again until I get some ARP studs. I dont think you can put enough TQ on the CUHGs with the stock bolts. Since the compression is the same on each cyl. per side...it looks to be an air delivery issue. Again, try stock cams.
  16. i just creamed myself........msteel better buy that so I can buy if ohh him at some point. lol
  17. Correct. The attempt was only 1/2 sucessfull....sucessful in ruining a spyder intake and then having a car that runs like crap. The two TB's do not interchange anything. You will have to re-wire the TPS to work. You will have to make new throttle cable brackets. You will have to figure out how to properly get the throttle actuation correct. Then...you will have to figure out how to adjust idle and make the car idle...as the XT6 is like EJ engines in the fact that idle is electronically controlled. However, it can be done...IF done with the proper time investment and wanting to do things right. First step is honing out the spyder plenum to the XT6 size...2.5 inches. THEN...making an adapter plate to bolt the TB on...then, figure out the rest.
