filling in the wheel wells outback xt
who knows. no one's really downsized new gen wheels yet. if you're that hard up for it, get the wheels and worry about grinding later.

think it will fit (brushguard)
that was the most rediculous use of ebonics i've ever read.

any agressive truck tire thats in 17" will be HUGE. no, you won't be able to find anything along the lines of what i imagine you're looking for.

think it will fit (brushguard)
that actually wouldnt take a whole lot to make fit. just cut off all the apendages and cut off pieces of them, then weld it back together.

coming from someone if "offroad subaru" arena and from a Good Year garage, you're not going to find anything that's aggressive in a 17" thatll fit your car. if you want offroadish agressive tires on a sedan then you need a car with 14", 15", or MAYBE 16" (though your choices will diminish with 16"). my stock size is 195/60r15 and i have 205/75r15's on it. Trail Mark Radial APR's. youve just got too big of a wheel to find an agressive dirt-tread.

Dealership can't even figure out engine? problem with my Legacy Wagon
LosDiosDeVerde86 replied to thedena's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXyeah, but i've never heard of a car running weird with an improperly sealed gas cap

Dealership can't even figure out engine? problem with my Legacy Wagon
LosDiosDeVerde86 replied to thedena's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXwhen the check engine light comes on it sends information to the car's computer and the computer saves the problem in the form of a code. when you take it to the garage, they hook up a code checker to your car's computer that reads any and all saved errors. this may only come up as a number, or it may be a number and a breif explanation. something you could do it go to pepboys and have your computer scanned for codes. if they find a code they'll let you know what the number is (and may actually tell you what the problem is. i've never done gone to pepboys to do this personally, but people here will tell you it's possible.) then you could bring the code back here are get some more educated opinions as to what the code means and what you should start doing about the problem. it's very odd though that the dealership got a code and doesn't know what to do....

Why is Subaru gettting rid of the Baja
well, i must say....you just defined the reason that a lot of us got into subaru in the first place. good one. i've switched sides.
-
lifting a turbo?
yeah, after i lifted mine, my muffler bearing went bad and the exhaust fluid had to be flushed. EXPENSIVE maintenence. sometimes i get the feeling my mechanic isn't being 100% honest with me.
-
Why is Subaru gettting rid of the Baja
yeah. fuji needs to get it in their heads that if they're going to make a pickup, they need to make it a PICKUP. none of this car-based crap. build a REAL pickup truck the way it's supposed to build, and they may actually sell.

Dealership can't even figure out engine? problem with my Legacy Wagon
LosDiosDeVerde86 replied to thedena's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXi dont think that its a gas problem at all. that sounds EXACTLY like what my legacy was doing when the MAF sensor went bad. (i don't know how car savvy you are, so: MAF sensor - A sensor that is attached to the air intake that measures the amount of air the engine is sucking in. this, in turn, tells the engine how much fuel to used based on the air/fuel mixture. air intake - open your hood, it's that long black plastic thing that comes out the back of the engine.) sorry, i hope i'm not insulting your intelligence or anything. i just dont want you to be confused.
