  1. also, where can we find those 2200 4x4 stickers that look like the original 1800 4x4 badge?
  2. Those three saabs are runners. He does have 2 parts saabs tho. None with louvers or spoilers tho. I also forgot to mention that he bought another set of louvers for his 4 door saab. The one with a spoiler is a 16 valve and the one with both is a turbo. I like louvers. I wish my wagon had some. I think I've only seen one or two subies with louvers.
  3. on a carbureted engine could you just dump it in the carb?
  4. Its not that rare. My dad has 3 saabs. Two of which have those. One has the rear window louvers. Those are rare. Lol
  5. ThAts ok, i will be able to put it on myself. Thanks tho Ryan
  6. I finally found another job! so i should have some money to spare in around 2-3 months or so. After i pay people back who i owe money to And get my bills taken care of. I also have to get my truck up and running, but that shouldn't be too long. But ill need a 4 inch ea81 wagon lift when i get one. Thanks, Ryan
  7. I want this tranny!! It would bolt right up to an ea81 wouldn't it? About how much would it cost to build myself one? I wish i had enough money to donate to you guide, but i just got a job last week after being layed off for 2 months. Thanks, Ryan
  8. just get one from a u- pull junk yard. prolly run you like 15 bucks. or like 30-50 from a regular junkyard, depending on where your at.
  9. But 15 seconds is long enough to figure out if it spits and sputters when you hit the gas which would tell you timing is off
  10. Everybody who puts an aftermarket carb goes with weber. Just go on ebay and search for ea81 weber. The whole kit is like 320 dollars and it comes with everything. Even the air cleaner. And then search the forum for weber swaps and it'll tell you everything you need to know to get it going Ryan
  11. If i had to commute a lot i would love a Fwd ea81 cause they get amazing mileage. But i like to go play around in the hills alot so i need 4x4. There's nothing wrong with a Fwd. Id just rather have 4x4 Ryan
  12. +1. I completely agree. If its gonna be for more than just commuting id go ea82 Ryan
  13. Id say go for it. You could easily double your money or just put the engine in Something better than a 2wd wagon. Ryan
  14. Yeah I definitely wouldn't pay that. Just weld it yourself or have a buddy do it
  15. Id go with the justy cause you wouldn't wanna blow a head gasket or break a t-belt that far away from home. And better gas mileage
  16. +1!! ea82 is definitely not your best bet
  17. I ran into some monetary issues when i lost my job, but when i get some money flowing again i fully plan on getting one
  18. If its overheating all the time then id be willing to bet money that its a head gasket. Do a compression test on it
  19. Does it ever overheat? Cause it should suck coolant out of the overflow as it heats up. Not the other way around. I also think it could be a head gasket problem cause that's pretty common with those engines. Is the oil milky looking? If so its definitely a head gasket problem.
  20. Wow! that's big! isn't That about a 23 or 24? Where did you find those?
  21. Yeah, if i wasn't gonna offroad my wagon i wouldn't have chopped the fenders either. Lol. And for big city driving a little bigger tires would Prolly be nice for the 4 speed gearing. Lol
  22. Yeah. Those soobie 14s are pretty hard to come by. I looked for a long time then came across some 6 lug wheel Im gonna drill in the near future. I chopped my fenders just to make room for the bumper i built for it. Lol. And mine is rust free too. Wagons are pretty easy to find rust free ones. Ill Prolly Chop my fenders a little more to make room for the 31s i got for it:grin: Do you plan on offroading your wagon?
