  1. Read!! Super Coil - Not Super Stock coil. Two different animals.
  2. Accel Super Coil is oil filled and can be mouted in any position.
  3. There has been quite a bit of talk on this. Do a search and also look here http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/article.php?a=87. Accel super stock coil is the same size as a stock coil. a Super Coil is a lot bigger and is made of some sort of Yellow plastic, but will bolt in the stock location, I put one on my Brat. I haven't driven it, to tell you that the performace has increased, but it does seem to start better.
  4. Piston rings and valves = yes, Valve guides and seals = no
  5. Could it be the hot oil from the turbo dumping into that head, making the difference?
  6. Click on where it says view all pictures.
  7. A friend of mine bought a brand new green one in 1973. I remember it came with a small can of touchup paint in the glove box. He traded a not so clean 66 Mustang in on it. He had it for a year or so, then the Michigan Rust Bugs started eating the car alive.
  8. Here is a kit, if thats what your looking for. http://www.altronics.com.au/index.asp?area=item&id=K4347
  9. Geezzzz is there a strait piece of metal on that 87?
  10. If your not to far from Kenyon, Mn, go look it over good, get under and realy check it out. If the underside is rusted out, let it go. But if the subframe and floors are good. Then decide weather you want to put the time and money into it to make it nice again.
  11. With all the cylinders reading the same. I would think your head gaskets are fine. If it were me, I'd just change the intake gaskets.
  12. The tongue weight of that 50 ton cap. lowboy alone would bottom out that Dodge, let alone the weight of what looks like a D6 with a ripper( 50,000 lbs or more) Plus the thin sidewall monster tires on that truck would explode under that much weight. The 16 tires on the lowboy are 255/70R x 22.5 "H" load range, PSI 125 steel belted radials They are about as close to being solid as you can get.
  13. Gen II Hard to tell what it's worth, without seeing or knowing the background.
  14. Must have got lucky with my clutch, just bolted the P/P on where it fell. Didn't know you had to index the thing. No shacks or vibs.
  15. Was the trans. dry when you got it or if it had grease in it, what did it look like? Was there any metal or junk on the drain plug? Now that you have run it, pull the drain plug and check it. Could be a bad bearing in the trans..
  16. Did you drive the car the trans. came out of? Or did you just run it threw the gears on the bench?
  17. What color is the sky where you live?
  18. For lateral G's yes. But I was thinking along the lines of more tires putting the power to the ground, is all.
  19. How do you figure?
  20. Wouldn't a 2600 lb AWD car need less tire than a lighter RWD car?
